Didn't do this myself-- but my two sons went on this zipline adventure and really enjoyed it. We saw many people, of all ages, coming down from the mountain, and all seemed really happy and exhilarated. One of my sons is not crazy about roller coasters, and often suffers from motion sickness, so I was wondering how it would go--- but he loved it, and had no problems with motion sickness at all. All the staff were really nice and helpful. We showed up without a reservation on a busy weekend day, and they made an effort to find a spot for our sons. I would recommend making a reservation before coming out, though. Its about a 1/2 hour drive from Victoria. There are picnic benches, and a pub next door, for those who just want to wait. Think about combining this with a visit to French Beach, about another 20 minutes down route 14. Beautiful, wild, windswept beach (not for swimming, I wouldn't think), very scenic with dramatic views and lots of driftwood. We enjoyed a long walk down the beach and a bit of a hike in the woods.
