“good surprise is the BEST surprise!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

we skipped this restaurant on a previous visit to this area and hindsight that was a mistake. Now this will become our regular stop whenever we vacation here. We eat out all different types of cuisine in the Toronto area with their fine restaurants so when I give 5 stars to this place you can well imagine where I am coming from. Surprisingly excellent food. Amazingly fresh with flavor. Family run professional restaurant. They know what they are doing. David thank you immensely for a wonderful experience!

“Fantastic meal in Wawa!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Had a great meal the night before our Pine Portage fishing trip. Execellent Pickeral dinner along with a great Greek salad and unexpected vegetable soup which was excellent. A terrific meal with very pleasant service

“Excellent food; interesting location; eclectic decor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

Mining companies are looking for gems around Wawa -- diamonds and rubies -- but here is the real gem in Wawa. What a great restaurant! The food was spectacular. The Lake Trout was fresh and well prepared. The Strawberry Chicken was excellent! I was tempted to stay an extra night in Wawa just to try the Peach Chicken. The menu is an interesting blend of Caribbean, Canadian and East Indian influences and flavours. Everything is cooked from scratch and the chef was most accommodating to various food allergies.

“Superior !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

We had a fantastic meal here over Canada Day weekend. We ate on the patio which was a great choice, it was a beautiful night. My partner had Curried Chicken and I had Pickrell and we both thought this meal was one of the best meal's we've ever had in a restaurant - in Wawa of all places! Don't come here if you are in a big hurry - it takes longer to cook from scratch. Definitely a winner - great value for the $ and we can't wait to come back!

“In Wawa of all places!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013 via mobile

Who knew there was a place with such an eclectic menu in little, out of the way Wawa of all places? We were encouraged by friends to try it out and we're pleased we did on a recent riad trip through Northern Ontario. My husband and I had the raspberry chicken as recommended by our friends and our son had the chicken curry. While ours was good, I think he chose the better dish! Aside from it being delicious, his curry was piping hot and I found my own rice and veg to be me lukewarm - possibly a timing issue. The raspberry chicken itself was very good though! The server was very friendly and attentive. We'd definitely recommend this to anyone passing through and looking for something better quality and better tasting than your typical roadside diners and fast food joints.
