“A place to gather in Qualicum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Coffee was good. The restaurant is spacious and clean. It overlooks a courtyard with a modern fountain and formal garden. It has a relaxed atmosphere and locals gather daily.
There is a fair selection of different foods for lunch or snacks. I was a bit disappointed that all the dessert choices were overloaded with sugar.
Thankfully, it's open on Sunday when other places are all locked up.

I love the atmosphere of this Qualicum treasure. Great food and service. Very popular with the locals. Prices are good too

“Nice spot but quite unremarkable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

The location by the town-centre square is nice; but the retsaurant itself has nothing else to boast of. With just a little more effort, the management could make something really special at this location.

“very nice local coffee house”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

It is a great place to stop in for coffee and a muffin or even to go for lunch. You better be hungry though because even the muffins are the large ones. I don't drink coffee but the ones I have been with say it is good and they go through so much I know that it is fresh. The staff are very firendly and quick to serve. It is one that you line up, order and then find your own table. You can stay inside or on a nice day go out.

“More of a Cafeteria”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

Service was slow as there was a line up. Food was good, rather average. Large windows and bright, however, too noisy for weary shoppers and I could hear most conversations loud and clear from surrounding tables. People should not gossip about others in public!
