“Feels like coming home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2007

We spent one night of our honeymoon at Eagle Landing. We got a very warm welcome with coffee and tea. Jim and Anne took some time to welcome us, to show the house and to talk with us. We had a really relaxing evening at the deck, watching the sunset and observing the bald eagles. The breakfast was really good with full of choices. We felt like visiting a part of our family.
The room was clean and quiet, with chocolate on our pillows. The bathroom was clean and large, with lots of towels and shower gels. The large property is located at the oceanside with an amazing view on the coastline of B.C.
We would everytime come back to this B&B.

Location, location, location!
What a great place to visit & stay and who better to welcome you into their home than Jim & Ann - what fantastic hosts!

Superb views, peaceful surroundings, lovely weather, a very central location for travel about the Island and all you could need to start off your day in a broad variety of both cooked & continental breakfasts. Great conversations were had with our hosts and other guests.

Our 10 year old son Liam had a wonderful time with our walks down to the private beach to watch & listen to the seals. He also really enjoyed Jim lettng him ride his tractor-mower!

We'll be back!

We loved the peace and quiet and wonderful views from everywhere at Eagle Landing, even from our bed! Ann and Jim were so welcoming and helpful with advice on places to visit and restaurants for an evening meal. The welcome back in the evening with a cup of tea or glass of wine and cosy chat was much appreciated. This place is well worth the 5 minute drive outside Qualicum Beach.

Anne and Jim could not have been better hosts nor their home a better place to see and get a feel for the beauty of Vancouver Island. We stayed in the loft space, a wonderful, cozy apartment over the garage with separate entry....wonderful and homey. Anne and Jim made breakfast every morning at the time requested by each of the guests and it was a fabulous English breakfast that lasted all day. Any food allergies or needs were respected and breakfasts customized to the guests. The house overlooked a beach (200 feet below) which was deserted and beautiful and home to a wonderful group of seals---a great treat.
The night sky was fabulous; full of stars that one does not get the opportunity to see unless far from city lights. Fabulous on all levels---very special hosts; fun, intelligent (we hated leaving breakfast conversations) , interesting, helpful on all levels. Cannot recommennd this more highly.

Anne and Jim were able to accomodate our two families wonderfully. Each couple had their own room with a private bath and all the kids were able to stay in loft. The kids had a great time in their own space! The rooms were very clean. The food was excellent and Anne even cooked my eggs longer as I like them really well done! The view is fantastic and it was great to sit and watch the sun go down over the water.

I stayed for one night at Eagle Landing while travelling on Vancouver Island. Anne and Jim welcomed me very warmly and friendly. I felt comfortable right away. The room and bathroom were absolutely clean and tidied up decoratively. In the morning, Anne prepared a big and delicious breakfast for me. The scenery at Eagle Landing is magnificent and sunsets are breathtaking. All in all, it is a quiet place that is good for relaxing. I strongly recommend it.
