“Great views, great place, allow well behaved dogs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

My husband and I stayed in the Sunrise unit last July for 3 nights. We absolutely loved it, we were travelling with our two dogs and as the owners don't permit the dogs to be left unattended we cooked all our meals. That was not a problem as the grocery store is a short walk from the resort and we had the best view in town from our little porch. The room was clean and suited our needs just fine. It was a little short on drinking glasses and we opted to buy a few at the dollar store in town. We purchased some bbq coals and took advantage of the bbq . We are planning to return again this summer, hopefully we will be able to get the same unit and stay a little longer. Absolutely charming, peaceful place.

Room Tip: we liked the Sunrise, tucked in a corner with a little porch and great view of the boardwalk and sea...

We stayed at this location while attending a speed skating competition. We stayed in a house on the basement/bottom floor. The rooms were clean but dated. Linens need to be replaced. The rooms were adequate for our needs but small for a family of 6. We would stay agin because of the convenience of having a kitchen to prepare meals

We stayed here for Paddlefest (music festival in May). The cottages are just that, cottages, but as such have a decidedly cozy feel. There is a nice common area right on the water, which is a great spot to take in the natural beauty of St Andrews harbour. We were lucky enough to stay during a full moon, which lit up the harbour into the early morning.

Rooms are comfortable, innkeepers are nice and it's an easy walk to downtown St Andrews.

Nice clean place with a great view . Good size for 2 people , might be a little cramped if there were 4 adults . The kitchen had everything we needed . The guy who checked us in wasn't overly friendly , barely even spoke to us . The deck was wonderful . One thing this place needs is a clock in the bedrooms . I couldn't sleep well at all because when I woke up I didn't have a clue what time it was . So if you go take one with you .
I do have to say the people in St Andrews are very friendly .

We stayed here for the first stop on our 1st year anniversary to the East Coast. What a great start to our trip! We stayed at the Sandpiper, a tiny cottage with a little deck, a BBQ out front, and a wonderful view of the water. It is such an adorable little place and it is a perfect size for a couple. We were only there for a night and we enjoyed some of the cuisine in town, but if you wanted to cook there was a small kitchenette with fridge, stove, and they provided lots of a cooking utensils and a kettle. Everything was very clean. The only thing I would mention is there was only a shower, and that was a tight fit. Wasn't really a problem for my husband and I. Overall a wonderful stay and I wish we had stayed longer!

Room Tip: Go Whale Watching - Try Jolly Breeze, it's a tall ship, which is just fun even without the whale...

We had an excellent cabin right on the water. Two small rooms, a decent sized living room area, small kitchen and a bathroom...with an excellent deck, perfect for four people. We only stayed one night, but it would have been nice to stay longer. Easy walk into town from here.

We stayed at the Seaside Beach Resort in early September 2012. There were 6 of us and we stayed in the Spruce Cottage. The cottage is absolutely adorable.....the craftmanship of the woodwork is quite impressive. Most importantly, it was immaculately clean! Check in was a breeze....our stay was very enjoyable. The cottages are quite close together so if there is a party going on, as there was when we were there...it can be a bit noisy but nothing that was really bothersome. Unfortunately, it was foggy and drizzly for most of our stay but the sun did come out before we left and the views were beautiful. My only suggestion would be to replace the couches.....they are definitely past their expiration date! I would definitely recommend Seaside.....

Room Tip: Spruce Cottage is a 3 bedroom cottage - very nice!
