“Affordable comfort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

We stayed with our family for a weekend in a suite with a king bed and pull out sectional sofa. There was a full kitchen and we paid just over a hundred a night. The kids enjoyed the outdoor heated pool even in a rainy day. The room was better than the average hotel room. We appreciated the full size fridge, microwave and stove. We plan to go back for a ski trip as it is located right at the Kimberely Alpine Resort, the chair lifts and ski hill go right to the hotel.

Thank you for posting your review on TripAdvisor. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back in the winter. Trickle Creek Lodge is the perfect ski in ski out property in the winter and the Kimberley Alpine Resort is great for any type of skier or snow boarder. Lift lines are short which is perfect for families with kids. I am sure you will have a wonderful time. See you soon.

Thank you,

We've been guests here 3 times now and each time is good. Room good and spacious, lots of plug-ins for gadgets, bed good, quiet, staff friendly, full sized fridge and stove, dishwasher in kitchen so you could cook your meals. Underground parking good. Road bicycles from hotel through town and it was fine. Nice sitting on the deck. Room clean. Bathroom good.

Room Tip: All rooms have a view and good stairways or the elevator.

Thank you for staying with us here at the Trickle Creek Lodge and we are happy that you enjoyed your stay. Kimberley does have some incredible biking trails that are great for all ages with some pretty amazing views of the area. Mountain biking or road biking, there are trails for both.

We appreciate that you took the time to write your review on TripAdvisor and hope to see you again when you are back visiting in Kimberley.

We stayed at Trickle Creek one night on our way to the States. We had a later arrival and were greeted by a front desk attendant who gave us the information on the underground parking, amenities and how to get to our room. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered our room. The room was not a basic bedroom and bathroom. We had a kitchen area (stocked with kitchen accessories, appliances and plates, cups etc). There was a small dining room table and a living room area with a TV and fire place. There was also a nice deck with a view of the mountain/ski area. The bedroom had a king bed in it as well as a separate sink. Walking around to the one side of the bed was a bit tight because of the cabinet with TV in it.

Kimberley is a great place to visit if you like the mountain atmosphere without the high tourist levels. The resort area was quiet compared to other resorts (Panorama) and a great place for adults (there are not a lot of kid activities here other then being out in the wilderness).

There is not a lot of restaurants in the resort area other then a Montanas. There is also a breakfast in the main lobby but this costs extra and finishes at 10. There are minimal snacks that can be purchased as well as there is not convenience store in the lodge.
It is a great place to stay whether it is for a one night stop over or for a weekend or a week long stay.

We stayed here in the summer of 2014, it was very nice! The property is well maintained and the staff is very friendly! The pool was also very nice. Slow service at Montana's but they discounted our meal so that made up for the long wait for our food. Nice playground near the lodge, my daughter loved playing there! We would definitely go back, 2 days wasn't long enough!

Room Tip: The rooms facing the pool are a bit noisy at night...not sure why there is a loud fan going on outsi...

It is a 4 1/2 star hotel, it is perfect! Stayed in one bedroom suite just great. The only down side is that the bathroom light is hardwired with the fan, and it is a bit noisy every time you use the restroom. Poll just great for kind and hot-tube for adults. Quite as mountains can be.

we get there, and to start with they give us the wrong paper work to sign. we finally get up the single elevator to find our room, room doesn't look bad, but the fan in the bathroom is very very loud, thin walls, the bed was horrible to sleep on, the bottom sheet was too small for the king size bed, tried to sleep on the sofa bed, that had no sheets, there was no one at the front desk after 9 PM, the Wifi was laughable, didn't really work

Room Tip: go to a different hotel

Thank you for taking time to post your review on TripAdvisor about your recent stay. It is unfortunate that you were disappointed with your room while staying with us. I have addressed your concerns with the other departments and they are working on resolving these problems so that they don't happen again. Please feel free to contact me directly so I can get the room number that you stayed in so that maintenance and IT can look into the fan issue and WIFI problem.
