“Clean - Not bad for the $”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

Stayed 2 nights. No elevator was a down side. Parking was slim, & I had some concern since there are bars sharing the parking area. The room was clean. The shower curtain needed to be replaced, but it wasn't too awful. & I was not sure about the towels. There was a towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I don't know if the staff hung it there as some sort of courtesy-thing, but I didn't use it in the chance it was previously used & the staff forgot to check before releasing the room. No problems with with service,

It was my second stay in two years.I love the location. The hotel is older but very clean and the staff is super nice and helpful.Breakfast could be a little more exiting. If you`r planning on walking a lot this is the place, just two minutes to the waterfrond, ten to the brand new library and to the playhouse and stores.

We stayed here during the Orillia Scottish festival. The hotel is located such that you can walk to the parade, local restaurants, grocery store adn even shopping if you are interested. It is a short drive to the casino as well. The continental breakfast is very basic, but convenient.

Inexperienced front desk, small rooms, cigarette burn in curtain, hole in sheet, terrible small pillows, dirt in sink drain, dirty wall paper and carpets throughout, peeling paint, loud music, mildew on shower curtain, no elevator. One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in.

Not your usual Quality Inn. A bit concerned looking from outside, even once in the lobby. But after climbing a zillion stairs (no elevator), we finally made it to a very clean room, king bed, whirpool bath but older type TV. Breakfast was not very exciting, not even a waffle maker. Staff was super nice and accommodating. One block from downtown. One block from the lake. Lots of restaurants around.

We stayed here in June. This would be our 6th or 7th stay here. Quite frankly we will not be coming back. The front office staff were rude and unhelpful and could care less that we were there. The rooms need repair and it is quite clear that money has not been put back into the hotel. This is now the second Quality in that we stayed at in the past year that has been a disappointment. We used to stay only at Quality Inns at one point....not anymore. The Choice Brand hotels have really gone downhill. We will not be staying in another one. What's with the name? Waterfront??? really??

Room Tip: The Best Western near the casino would be a much better choice.

Booked through 3rd party so the Hotel was not revealed until after confirmation. Went to Orillia for the Journey concert. Was a 15 minute drive from Casino Rama. Orillia itself is a nice little town. The Hotel exceeded my expectations since on most sites it is only rated 2 stars. The only was I can see that rating as legitimate is due to its exterior. You need to park in the back which gives off the low end motel vibe. Inside however a different story. Friendly concierge desk, quality rooms and very clean. Definitley for Orillia this is at the minimum a 3 star. Excellent pub food across the street as well @ Studabakers. Lastly the waterfront is just behind you. Less than a 2 minute walk.

Room Tip: Stay away from a room that backs onto Front St. It is a busy street so sleeping could be a problem.
