“Incredible view of the Rock and sea”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

We ate here in July of 2013. We came as they opened (4:30), and were given an unbelievable view of Rocher Percé. We ordered off the menu - usually don't do buffet anymore (unless for good reason!). Both my wife and I had a crab dish with a dozen claws, which was fantastic: taste, presentation, service, quality, and quantity. Felt very welcomed by the staff. it was just starting to get busy when we left, but had we arrived when it was busy, we likely would not have had such a stellar view of the Rocher and the sea, with the gannets diving for their own food right outside the window.

“Big and noisy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

The service was ok, the food was good but nothing to remember, rather disappointing to eat so blandly fish and shellfish in this outstanding village by the sea.
Not my type of place, lacks warmth and finish.
Try the dining room in the Riotel instead or one of the cafes with less pretensions on the Main Street.

“Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Ordered off menu. Buffet did not look appetizing to us. Would only sit in the front room toward the water, not in the buffet area. Poached salmon and chicken croquettes excellent.

“Not all it's hyped up to be.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

The food was ok, but the selection on the buffet was quite limited. We were hoping for a lobster dish, or at least crab, but no such luck. The food that actually was available was ok at best. The service was slow - more than once we had plates sitting on the table waiting to be cleared, even after getting back from the buffet. Price was what one could expect with the selection and quality of the buffet.

If you're looking for a seafood restaurant that offers well-prepared local fare, then take some time and look around. If you want to stuff your face to the point of being gorged, then this is your place.

“Would have picked something else”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012 via mobile

Live music (you like or you don't, sings nicely but it annoys me), atmosphere too loud so we can't hear waiter, lobster tail way too cooked and tasteless. Nice menu but pricey.
