If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city....and have a romantic week-end alone, or simply some "me" time...this is the place for you.
Nestled in the middle of the mountains, with no other buildings in sight, this charming B&B is a wonderful refuge. Newly renovated, the main building has extreme attention to detail and is very clean and welcoming. Wooden floors and walls, exposed stone in the bathroom (with all the modern fixtures), fireplace, large garden, low lighting, warm ambiance, this B&B has it all. The breakfast is simple, and could include some fruit, but otherwise, very good.
The owner is hospitable and not overbearing. She explains everything and then leaves you alone. The only drawback is that the the owners live on the bottom level. This means that, although it is private, loud noise can be heard. We didn't hear anything, but we were also trying to be quiet. It's just like being a guest in someones house.
Overall a really wonderful experience at a truly special place. Highly recommended.
