Thanks to Kevin & Becks for making our stay with them a thoroughly relaxing experience. An aperitif on the terrace looking out on their beautiful views, our beautiful bedroom and bathroom with superb shower is all fitted out to the highest quality and nice touches adding even more comfort such as armchairs and tea/coffee making facilities made our stay perfect. The food was amazing, home made bread, home grown lamb, home grown vegetables made for a delicious dinner and breakfast was just as sumptious with lots of home made jams to choose from, fresh fruit, yoghurt and more. Will be back again very soon, highly recommend it.

A first class welcome, marvellous views, the most wonderful food, we all came home feeling relaxed and chilled, should be available on the National Health! Well done Becky and Kevin, for making us all feel so special, and Becky, that plum roullade is to die for!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2010

We stayed here for six nights in lovely surroundings, eating beautifully cooked 4-course evening dinners(many ingredients were home-grown, bread baked fresh and dishes had a regional flavour) on a terrace overlooking a valley. The accommodation in a converted farm building was new, comfortable and spacious. Our friendly and helpful hosts Kev and Becks suggested local walks and places of interest. It is a lovely area for walking and , borrowing maps from Kev, we tackled easy and more challenging walks starting both from the house and a few kilometres away using the car. Becks provided filling packed lunches when we needed them. Chez Banks is a kilometre away by track and lane from the nearest hamlets and perched as it is on a hillside is not suitable for young children ...but for everyone else...great !

What a great place to stay - amazing location and wonderful hosts - Becky is a fantastic chef and we could not have been better looked after but at the same time given space.
Will be back for more of that home cooking
many thanks
