“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2014

Fantastic long walks in magnificent grounds, stunning views, extremely well maintained, also free bus to and from car park if you don't want the long steep walk to the house. Gardens were very pretty, outside of the house stunning, slightly disappointed with inside, due to a great need of renovations to the house not much was open to the public.
Would I revisit? Definitely for the walks and the gardens, great day in the sunshine for picnics and fun with the family

“What a great place to break your journey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2014

I was on a journey to Wales and planned to break for lunch at Dyrham Park. The house itself was not open on the day I visited - hence 4 out of 5 rating. It was a lovely day and I enjoyed the walk down the hill to the tea room and gardens. Had a good lunch and loved the atmosphere and setting. Lovely staff in the tea room. Walked back up the hill (quite steep) which took a bit longer - 15 minutes or so. Would love to spend more time there and see inside the house.

“Magnificent property”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2014 via mobile

A magnificent property incorporating stunning buildings set in a huge park where fallow deer roam free. The buildings remind one of an era long gone. Full of Antiques and interesting artifacts.

“Dyrham Park House & Gardens.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

Great day out. When you arrive, the House is quite a walk from the car park, but the National Trust have laid on a free Bus to the property if you either can't, or wish not to walk. I can't walk that far so took the bus which is a shame as there are lots of Deer roaming free in the grounds & it was a lovely sunny day when we visited the walk would have been lovely. The Gardens & ground floor of the House are wheelchair accessible but you won't be able to see the upper floor unless you can manage the stairs. There is also a nice little Church to visit if you should wish to do so. Overall a very nice day out & will probably visit again.

“Beautiful estate, worth a visit.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2014

Beautiful national trust property located outside of Bath. Extensive grounds filled with a variety of deer, and spectacular views of the surrounding country side. There is a bus to bring you from the car park to the house, or if able you can opt to walk. The later is worth it! It is very open so can be very cold and windy, be prepared. The house and gardens are well laid out with plenty of volunteers to fill you in on the history.
To top this place off, there is a lovely cafe. It is packed every time I visit. The food is delicious and a reasonable price. Afternoon tea needed after a wander around the grounds in the cold winds! There is also a small gift shop on site.
