I have been staying at the Best Western for the past 3 years for business. The rooms are newly furnished: new comfy beds, sanitary remote, clean, updated decor, fair sized fridge and microwave. God parking for cars, trucks and truck & trailers. The complimentary breakfast is fantastic, many options to choose from and the largest breakfast room I have ever seen in a hotel. The location of this hotel is good, great restaraunts and many other services within two blocks of the hotel. The staff here is exceptional, especially Susan Ballard! Everyone is always smiling, competent, friendly, accomodating and personable. For example, last summer I had rolled my ankle and could barely walk. The front desk attendant took my bags to my room and brought me ice several times throughout the evening. I don't know of any other place that would give you that kind of service. The staff has always treated me like VIP and I have no complaints about this hotel or anyone that works in it. Will stay here for years to come! Thank you to the staff for all your kindness and look forward to dealing with you in the future :)

Helpful staff and full breakfast. Rooms cleaned well, but, in spite of effort to dress up the outside, this hotel is obviously old. The room was smaller than any of the newer hotels leaving you crowded when you walk around the bed. Our room had a balcony that was separated from the neighbour with a small fence which was nice but the view was of the parking lot. on the whole slightly below average unless you are used to new first class hotels then you would find this much below average.

We are on the end of a two week road trip which we stayed in mostly Best Westerns. thinking that this hotel would match the quality we had previously experienced we booked for an over night in Calgary. I am seriously thinking that my car would have been a better choice. The rooms stink of stale smoke and deep fried food. The AC has not touched the temperature of the room and smells of mold. There are extensive renovations going on which was not noted when we booked. The bathrooms are old, dark and a bit less than sanitary. The beds are poor quality.This is not a best western hotel. This is a old rigger motel that someone thought they could put some paint on and call a hotel. Dont waste your money. Book elsewhere or sleep in your car.

I am a Best Western Rewards member so I stay at Best Westerns everywhere I travel. Unfortunately someone allowed this place to carry the BW name and it is not deserving.
List of issues:
Room had cig smoke coming in through washroom, frontdesk says they cant stop people from smoking outside....
Air conditioning didnt affect temp in room. Having to shower three times throughout one night not acceptable
Mag key didnt work even for front desk worker so had to give us master key to use to open room.
The room is so small i had to turn sideways to get past the second bed to get into the washroom.
Elevator broken
Pet room on the third floor with broken elevator. Asked if floor one had room and was told no.
Called 5 hrs after checking in to ask about how room temp was hotter inside then out with AC full. Only to be told they could move us to a pet room on the first floor. Almost made me move across the streetto new hotel.

This hotel is a discusting experience that I will tell BW chain about as they are charging premium hotel prices for a low rent motel.
