The fact that we don't even have to leave the Island to be at a beautiful RV resort is fantastic. We can save over $500. on ferries which can easily be spent on near by Golf. The Office Staff is very helpful, courteous and professional. The sites are all clean and often you can see the Busy Bees working on the numerous flower gardens, or picking up bits of garbage left by departed visitors. You can walk on miles of trails, or on the beautiful beach. The Park has a Marina for the boaters or fisherman, a playground for the younger children, a games room for the older children, a pool for everyone and a hot tub for adults. The bathrooms are very clean, and the showers are more than a trickle. The entire park is clean and very well maintained which the entire staff work hard to achieve. We have a dog, and the park even has "doggie bags" for our convenience. It is wonderful to sit on the berm and watch the cruise ships sail by. There are many people that are repeat visitors at the park and the permanent residents do not make us feel like we are invading their space, rather they welcome us with open arms and a huge smile. We were even greeted by the Manager Monica when she realized we were now at the park for our summer visit. She stopped to say hello, and to extend an invitation to let her know if there was anything her or her staff could do to make our visit more enjoyable . I cannot imagine staying anywhere else on the Island, as last summer we came to Salmon Point after a rather disappointing visit at a nearby park. What was to be a 2 day stay, ended up being a 6 WEEK stay. It is as nice or nicer than any RV resort we have stayed in across Canada or in the USA. There are real trees in the Park not only for the beauty but for shade on those hot, hot days. The resort has provided plenty of areas to make a fire on the beach. The resort and Staff work hard to accommodate everyone, including our precious pets.
