My wife and I were on a date-night while visiting Courtenay, and were actually looking for a different restaurant. When we noticed this place we thought we'd give it a try. We eat a lot of sushi, and are very picky when it comes to the quality of our sushi. We decided to just order a couple things to try them out, and if it wasn't up to our standards we could leave. We ordered a salmon/tuna sashimi appetizer, and small maki plate. We liked that we were offered wild pacific sockey (small extra charge), because we won't eat farmed salmon. We were impressed enough that we stayed and enjoyed a nice variety of sushi. Rolls and sashimi were all reasonably priced. The service was great. It was a Thursday evening and the restaurant was about half full the whole time we were there. If we're ever back in Courtenay, we'll stop here again.
