“Good outdoor walk”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

The Air Park is a great area if you need some fresh air and a good out door walk with opportunities to use a playground for the kids with views of the entrance to the Puntledge River and a Marina. You could also witness small aircraft landing and taking off as you walk pass the airstrip. There are also nice coffee places for snacks and beverages with access to the Holiday Inn Hotel. Cycling is also permmited and also for walking dogs on a leash.

“Bird watch or stroll along”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Perfect for power walkers, cyclists, roller blades, dog walkers or just sitting on the benches to watch the birds in the bay. The airport for smaller planes is in the centre of the park. Those who like to watch planes take off or land or watch seaplanes come and go will enjoy this park. There are always seals, gulls, swans and birds of all types in the Bay. This is a number one spot for kayakers to put their boats in as well at the Marina.

“A lovely walking trail”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

This paved, winding path takes you through woods, past ruins, the small airpark, and places for the children to play ... not to mention the swans to see and various other birdlife by the shore!

“Nice walk.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

It's a nice level, paved walk you can do with a dog or by yourself. The path runs along the river for a bit and you will probably see seals and eagles. You may also see Trumpeter Swans in the river or ocean. There is a large wintering population. You can extend the walk by going off the pavement at the far end and the path takes you through the woods and is really lovely. You'll come across a fish bearing stream and then come out to the ocean where you can stop and rest for a bit. Then take the stroll back to your car.
