In a beautiful setting - English garden in all its splendour - the hosts make you feel welcome and offer a wonderful homemade breakfast. Very peaceful, the only small drawback was, that we - having the 2-beds-room by choice - had to go across the hall to get to our bathroom. And that in this bathroom was a very picturesque lion-foot-tub to climb into for a shower. For seniors no small deal. Since we were travelling with friends - who had a super shower to their room - I just went across to their room. We will go there again, should we cross by ferry from Powell River to Comox. The host is a landscape gardener and can answer a lot of questions. His recommendation for a pub - the blackfin pub - was also excellent, eagles and grand sunset included.
