We have been to the Kingfisher restaurant several times, and were worried that things might have slipped - but it is as good as ever! We sat near the fireplace on a rainy evening, and the room was cozy but still spacious. Our server suggested a nice wine which went well with our seafood choices.
Since we like to try lots of tastes, we had baked oysters (I think they were called baby gems - spectacular!), the pear pecan salad, and panko-crusted maki roll. I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it! We shared the steamer basket entree - a great choice for lots of fresh, local seafoods with an Asian twist. We might have passed on dessert until we saw you could order three small portions of any desserts - for $15, we satisfied our sweet tooth without going overboard.
If we lived closer, this would be a regular restaurant for us - as it is, we look forward to it as a highight of our visits to Kingfisher Resort.
