“Beautiful Surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

We had no idea that when we looked up this hotel in our CAA guide book that it would be so beautiful. The grounds are breathtaking, the Mission is like walking back in time lovely furnishing throughout ever nook is decorated with great taste the Mission has amazing rooms, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, windows that OPEN!! very clean. There were three different menu's to choose from for meals, the room service was quick and efficient and where do I begin with the food? 5 stars to the chef the meal was outstanding! In the evening the grounds are very romantic. We wished we could stay longer and with all the activities may return with the kids or not lol. This is a stay we will never forget Excellent!

Room Tip: ask for a room in the Mission

this is our first visit to this resort & casino . this is a great place to golf eat and play. we were looking for a place to stay and somone suggested this place . They were very accomodating as we need a place to stay with our pets. they had one room left for pets . the young lady who checked us in gave us the seniors rate and for the pets . we checked the property out by walking arround . The golfing looked great as well as the pool and hot tub. Did not get a chance to golf but heard from others it was great . It was unfortunate we did not have the time to enjoy all the facilities . The room we had was very nice and clean and worth the time to travel outside of the cranbrook main city . The staff were all so helpfull in explaining everything at the resort .

Room Tip: only stayed in the one side and it was very quite. I t was a little walk done to the room but worth...

As I was there while working in the Cranbrook office I didn't have a lot of time during the daytime however, found it to be the nicest way to spend my down time after work. The rooms are quiet and clean and the views breathtaking. Of course you can go to the casino to while away evening hours however, there are lots of areas to walk in and out, history to review, a heated outdoor pool and hot tub as well as just getting in 9 - 18 holes of golf. Great ways to get out of the kinks from sitting in an office all day and letting your work frustrations go. The food is amazing in the four places to eat and provide affordable choices for all. The fine dining meal was excellent however, the menu is limited in choices. The service from all staff was exceptional.

We were there for a wedding in June 2013, the grounds were well kept and it was very beautiful. The wedding was held in front of the main building and it was a very beautiful setting indeed. The rooms were spacious, clean and updated. Staff was very helpful but service was a little on the slow side in the clubhouse and in the bar in the casino/ lounge. But despite that I would rate this place a number 10 out 0f 10. The pool was clean and I really enjoyed our weekend there. Would recommend to others as a great place to visit. Did not have the opportunity to enjoy the spa or golf.

My sisters and I stayed in the resort after enjoying the Tragically Hip concert in town. The resort offered shuttle service to the arena. We enjoyed the restaurant, casino and took the time to visit the Ktunaxa Cultural Centre located in the basement. We found it worthwhile to hear a little of the history of the building that has been transformed from the Indian Residential School. Our room was quiet, decent and afforadable. We would definitely return to the resort if in the area.

Room Tip: You can stay on Mission side or Casino side.

St. Eugene's immediately struck me as we drove up the curved driveway, due to its historic appearance. the grounds are very well kept and everything is within walking distance almost completely indoors. the Restaurants and lounges have a very country club feel including a port and cigar room and a billiards room. The staff were quick to remember names which was amazing considering over 80 of us ascended all at the same time. Both food and Drink is reasonably priced making a very good venue for a group like a wedding of a school or family reunion. I believe that a room for the night and a round of gold was 130.00, a almost unheard of value for a course of these beauty. Lots of wildlife on the course and rushing rivers and gurgling streams and sneaky ponds poke up out of no where. There is huge banquet tent just next to the course just steps away from the lobby and the health center has Two hot tubs ,a nice sized pool, steam and sauna rooms, which are unisex, as well as a decent gym to get the blood going in the morning. A big feature for me was coming from Northern British Columbia, many places are a tough commute, St. Eugene's was less than 5 hours routing through Vancouver and only 1 1/2 hours from Vancouver International. The airport is less than six minutes from course itself so little time is wasted in travel. The Casino is decent although if ten to gamble in places like Vegas you will notice there are a number of more rules at the tables which can get annoying. Over all a very classy and affordable vacation.

We had a great time at St. Eugene golfing. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The resort is very clean and the golf course is in great condition. There is a good choice of eating places at the resort and we tried them all and found them very good.
