Stopped in here multiple times over the past few months, since I was working a few hours north of FSJ, and we needed to get out of camp! Surprising for FSJ, a gorgeous coffee shop, with a great atmosphere, loud and bubbly, the way a coffee shop should be. The staff seemed standoffish at first, but they warm up to you. If you order and its busy, you get a little wooden painted number to take to your table, and they will deliver you your drink and food. The coffee is fabulous. The Denver sandwich is a must have if you make it for breakfast, which ends at 11AM. It's a fresh in house baked croissant, with eggs and ham and other good fixings. Also, another must try is their baked in house cinnamon buns; huge and gooey and soaked in some delicious sauce. Ask for it warmed up. Their chicken caesar wrap is great in a soft thick pita, as is the beef souvlaki, served like donair. They also have a good assortment of salads which are interesting and delicious. Prices are a little more than average, but the quality of food and drink are worth it. A beacon of hope for travelers searching for more than Tim Hortons coffee along the Alaska highway! The decor is also nice, with driftwood art pieces for sale, and hip paintings on canvas. Also, the washrooms are very clean and well decorated, loved them!
