Want to have some privacy away from the bustle of your home base? This is the place for you!

We have actually had two family baby showers here. The hostel and the apartment were perfect. The fact that there are barbecues is an added bonus. No need to heat up the inside when you cook out! The kids had a ball playing on the large lawn behind the hostel. Krista and Eric are very accommodating with all guests, even to the extent of helping us move picnic tables to accommodate our family function.

We have also used the apartment for respite for our daughter following knee surgery. The quiet location and the privacy offered at the hostel was just what the doctor ordered! Krista keeps the hostel immaculate and Eric is exceptional in maintaining the buildings. There is plenty of firewood for your campfire.

We are looking forward to our next visit, especially since we have found out about the breakfast basket, and hear that there are horseshoe pits now.

We were headed to Rogers Pass for a weekend of skiing and needed a place to stay for a night as we had the Wheeler hut booked.Communicated with the owners who were super accomadating and easy and pleasant to deal with.

It was easy to find,and when we rolled in they were there to greet us and made us feel very welcome.It's located off the beaten path but very accessible.Nice quiet place and close to the pub!

Inside has all of the ammenaties you would need.Cosy,homey and relaxing.They have private apartments and a communal hostel area with five beds in the room, bring earplugs in case of snorers but it's a large room and it's not cramped at all.

Great location, especially for trips to Rogers, or any adventure in the area you're going to embark on.Nice quiet country location the other hostels in Golden can't offer and a price that is more then affordable. We'll definitely be back.

The hosts Krista and Eric have a wonderful spot here that we will continue to return to year after year! We have visited several time and used both the hostel and the apartment suite. What we love is:
-we can mountain bike right from the door!
-we can x-c ski right from the door!
-they have a huge piece of land with a pathway that leads right to the Moberly Pub--great for a drink at the end of an active day!
-The breakfast baskets are a nice touch, especially since the eggs are right from their property!
-There is lots to do on right there for your down time including horseshoes, volleyball, foosball, BBQing and taking a nice stroll on the trails on their property.

We have also rented the whole hostel out before to run an avalanche course from and had this as our home base after the field days. It works great for this sort of group activity too.

We almost feel like we don't want to write a review as then more people will know of our great little secret gem of a getaway! Thanks Krista and Eric and of course, see you soon!
