Best view from your bar stool. You don't have to spend much to feel elevated here....literally.

“Excellent dinner in an amazing location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2011

The Chef's Selections were excellently prepared and presented. The wine pairing was enjoyable. The wait staff are great. The Gondola ride is complementary and offers a stunning view.

“A Special Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2011

A most unique restaurant. Getting there involves a 10 minute gondola ride, rising to 7,000+ feet above sea level. But the views from the top of this mountain must be one of the most spectacular mountain top views. I have since learned that it is even more special in winter.
We had not intended to eat but found that the menu tempted us and were very surprised at the quality, standard and choice of meals. The service too was very good.
Everyone we spoke to on the day said the same about their meals
Outside of the restaurant the views are very special.
If in the area again, we shall definitely pay this place a visit. However, the weather undoubtedly plays a part in the success of any visit here. Ours was on a blue skies clear day.

“Unforgettable perfection, best wedding meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2011

I'm a destination wedding photographer so I have eaten at some fancy places in North America & the Caribbean, and I believe that this one tops them all. This was my friends' wedding and I actually wasn't working so I got to enjoy it :) First - the appetizers: seafood platter: the crab legs tasted so fresh we thought the crabs were caught this morning. Sun dried tomato bisque seasoned perfectly. 2 vinaigrettes for the organic greens, both excellent (I preferred the fig one) and the gourmet cheese platter from Montreal accompanied by cashews and a spoon of Caviar (?) The main course included venison (medium rare - delicious), bison ribs, chicken breast with bone in, pork (mmm... full of flavour) and sadly I had no room to try the beef. The accompanying vegetables were cooked, steamed, braised, whatever -- to perfection. That brings me to desert...tiramisu - deconstructed, served in individual cups - a lady finger with tiramisu infused whipped cream (?) simple yet delish, the apple strudel was still warm and tasted like it was just flown in from a bakery in Vienna, chocolate ganache that was not too sweet and not too bitter. The service was seamless, there but not even there, you know what I mean, when your wine glass just gets refilled without you even noticing it and everything gets whisked away without interruptions. We had absolutely no room for the midnight snack but the mother of the bride made us pack it for lunch the next day and oh, we're so glad we did! Overall, I hope to come back one day because the meal was all we talked about the next day on our 8 hr drive home!

“Food with a view - breath taking!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2011

What a view! The food was sooo good, simple and elegant and tasty. The staff were professional and friendly and also family friendly. And a price far less than expected for the setting and atmosphere. And if you must walk off the calories, try the ridge walks - you are literally on top of the world.
While you are there you must visit Boo the grizzly bear in his 22 acre home half way up the mountain. Highly recommend a personal tour, a far more exciting visit then the general public one.
