“Reasonable, but somewhat disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

Stayed at this place for one night in the middle of summer. Noisy rooms, could hear the people in the room next to ours' TV through the wall. Continental breakfast was extremely disappointing -- there was a couple of eggo waffles, maybe a couple of oranges and cereal (Fruit Loops & bran flakes). Room had AC, but the AC unit only cooled the living area, and not the bedroom.

Unlike others, I had no problems with the wifi, but my room was very close to the check-in office. Rooms were clean, service was friendly, and provided us with a playpen for my 2 year old daughter free of charge.

All-in-all, a decent place to stay for a night, but somewhat overpriced for what it is.

I apologize that your stay was not as pleasurable as it should have been. It is not acceptable that our continental breakfast was not fully stocked at the time of your arrival. However, please note that our breakfast ends at 10am and our clerk would have been more than happy to offer more breakfast items upon request (after hours). Please keep in mind that we do offer assorted muffins, bagels, waffles, English muffins, toast, oranges, apples, bananas, yoghurt, oatmeal, cereal, assorted juice, tea and coffee. I will make sure the clerks are notified of your breakfast experience in the case that another guest happens to join us after we close the kitchen, we will not hesitate to make sure that they have all the possible breakfast options available.

I apologize that the room was not air conditioned to your satisfaction. We do offer in room fans that could have been delivered to your room at any point of the night.

Thank you for brining these issues to our attention so we can strive to ensure that our excellent/hospitable service is maintained.

We hope to see you and your family again in the future.

When we first drove in, we thought...hmmmm! We weren't sure we'd made the right choice of hotels, but we were pleasantly surprised. This hotel has the basics that all of the other ones have including a fridge and microwave, but listen up ladies...it has GREAT lighting for putting on your makeup! Usually, you can barely see your face in most motel bathrooms. LOVE it!

Also, UNHEARD OF...china dishes in the breakfast room! I do feel sorry for whoever has to clean them, but it's a little taste of home while on the road.

Really nice people on check-in and we were happy campers! A nice quiet place to spend the night. Good job Value Inn!

My father and I stayed at this motel on July 2 following Canada Day so the crowds were gone. Our two double bed room (#207) was upstairs and in a quiet area. The room was attractive and clean and everything was in working order. The breakfast was sufficient with the usual continental items. The motel is walking distance of the main part of town as well as the Trans Canada Trail. The prices at this motel are a bit high considering that Princeton is not a tourist attraction city but overall we were pleased with our accommodations.

I enjoyed our stay there. Trevor at the front desk is the nicest guy you could have attending to your needs. Includes a basic breakfast with cereals, fruit, waffles, muffins and bread. Beds were good and rooms clean but basic. At least it includes a microwave and refrigerator. I was disappointed the pool was nowhere near ready to be used but the weather wasn't the greatest so no big loss. I found the wifi disappointing. Half the time you can't connect. I was able to connect to the next door Dairy Queen's wifi better than the one by the Canadas Best Value Inn so that is not good. A bit pricey for what you get for a basic hotel room.

We stayed here after reading reviews on tripadvisor. This is on the highway, very close to Dairy Queen, A&W, several gas stations, and a good coffee shop "Cool Beanz", for those who need an early morning espresso. This is your usual basic motel, but everything works, and it meets the need for a comfortable sleep and a pleasant shower. The rooms surround a courtyard parking area, providing a retreat from the main highway.

Room Tip: The doggy room is on the ground floor

My husband and I just stayed four nights there when visiting relatives in Princeton. The staff were very helpful and upgraded our room to the jacuzzi suite with separate bedroom. The continental breakfast was excellent. The kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances. It was clean and the maid service was excellent. Don't think you could do any better than this in Princeton. The staff even brought us fluffy warm dressing gowns for the jacuzzi. The room heated up quickly with the in-room heater. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Trevor was very efficient in checking us in. He also made us aware that another guest had noticed that our car boot was left ajar (slightly open) - we're so grateful for that service. The room was super clean and good-sized. The property is well-presented and adequately-priced for the area, as we checked out the other 2 properties before coming here. We definitely made the right decision to spend the night there. Thanks for the excellent service, Trevor.
