Great walk- amazing trees with a well maintained boardwalk. Useful information signs as you walk around. Only takes about 30 minutes.

“Don't rush .....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

Though this boardwalk could be done in 15 minutes, as many reviewers suggest, it warrants a more liesurely approach than that. The boardwalk is very nicely done and my only criticism would be that that the continuous waist high handrails are rather intrusive and lend a slight feeling of separation from the forest. I guess that's as much for the protection of the trees as the visitors so is understandable.

Didn't know we had those huge cedars in this area. It only takes about 15 min. to do the whole boardwalk so a great place to stretch your legs.

“if your in need a 15 min rest stop this is the place...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

Very pleasant walk through the forest in summer time, im sure its cool in winter too but those boardwalks might get a bit slippery. Not one for baby strollers due to the steps but its easy for kids to do in a clockwise route...

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

What a great place to stop and take a short hike. There is a toll booth that appears to be open sometimes to make sure people have purchased a park pass if stopping. Lots of stairs but railings are provided. This was one of the highlights for us as we traveled through the national park. There is plenty of picnic tables so this would be a great place to stop for lunch.
