“Clean refurbished hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

Stopped over on way to Canmore - refurbished large room with new sofa bed for kids. Free wifi a boon. Little pricey but overall happy with stay.

Basic but generous breakfast

Very pleasant staff and check-in a breeze.

On our road trip between Banff and Kamloops there were few alternative stopovers other than Revelstoke, so the Best Western Plus was our choice. Although the hotel has neither bar or restaurant the rooms were air conditioned and comfortable. There is a liquor store adjacent and the town centre is less than $10 away by taxi. Front desk were helpful and able to effect a repair on my loose license plate. Breakfast is completely self serve but had a good selection, both hot and cold. A touch pricey for the accomodation offered but nonetheless a good choice

My family stayed here while driving between Seattle and Yoho/Banff National Parks. The hotel is really quite pleasant and confortable. It is modern, clean, and the staff was very friendly. The reception staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious and the beds were very confortable, with silky sheets and fluffy conforters. The breakfast wasn't just continental cold food, but included eggs, meets, and good pastries. It was a pleasant place to stop after a long days' drive.

We stayed at the Revelstoke Best Western on our rode trip after leaving Vancouver. The Best Western in Revelstoke is a shiny new multi-level hotel. We found the hotel clean and comfortable. Our room was a basic hotel room two beds, a washroom , desk, TV etc.. The room included a standard hotel buffet breakfast (eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, cereals etc... ) that was good. The hotel also has a pool but we didn't use it. At over $200 a night the hotel is pricey for a basic hotel room in a small town. We justified the price because we didn't want to have a bad experience and we have no complaints with the hotel.

After a bad experience with the Best Western in Invermere BC, it was nice to pull into the Revelstoke Best Western and seen a modern, clean, classy place to stay. We were greeted warmly, and professionally. The hostess even made us reservations at a local restaurant and arranged for the shuttle to take us there for dinner. She invited us to park our bikes under the roof near the front door, and also offered us buckets and rags to clean the bikes if we wanted to. The rooms were first rate, clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast in the morning was well prepared and delicious. The shuttle ride into town to a restaurant was entertaining with a very nice gentleman who drove it.

First of all, the room is not cheap. Not even close. But the hotel and our room were extremely nice. The room is large, neat, and well laid out, offering both microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom is also spacious and clean. And once my head hit the pillow I did not want to get up again -- the bed was that comfortable. After several close calls for lodging during a four-week trip, this hotel was like an oasis.

This is a newly built hotel with all the bells and whistles. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. All rooms are away from the railroad tracks so it was nice and quiet at night (this is a common negative about staying in Revelstoke). Very handy location just off the main highway and close to eateries and gas stations, etc.
The rooms were very spacious, modern and SO CLEAN. Granite counters in the bathroom with new fittings and fixtures. Carpets were superb. Each room is equipped with a coffee maker, microwave and fridge. 42 inch flat screen TV. The beds were a little high but the linens were crisp and the pillows and mattress were top of the line.
There was a desk and chair and a soft lounging chair with ottoman.
The hot breakfast which was from 6-10 am was outstanding. What a choice....sausage, cubed potatoes, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit, breads, muffins, english muffin,
bagel and waffles. It was nicely presented.
Free internet.
Small pool and 2 hot tubs. Exercise room and business center.
It is a little pricey (around $200 a night) but that seems to be the going rate in Revelstoke for the better hotels and WELL WORTH the extra cost.
It is the best "Best western" we have stayed in.
You won't be disapointed.
