“Lovely accommodation in Revelstoke”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2011

Stayed one night at the Courthouse Inn. The room was clean and well appointed with a nice view of the mountains. Breakfast was high end! I had a 2 egg souffle that was excellent. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
Although the Inn is not exactly close to the railway track it is close enough that my bed shook slightly in the middle of the night when a freight train rolled through town!

We stopped in Revelstoke on our way to racing in Ironman last summer- great place to relax and break up a long road trip. Hosts a friendly without being over the top and kindly booked us a spot at Woosley Creek Cafe (best place to eat in town!). Beds were comfortable and breakfast in the morning amongst the bed I've had at a B&B. Nice rooms- clean & tidy & bathrooms the same. Would happily stay here again!

This little place is in a lovely quiet neighborhood in Revelstoke, across from the courthouse. It is an easy drive to skiing and hiking and an easy walk to dinner. The food is superb and the coffee the best I've ever had. Our room was clean and light and very pretty, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom roomy. The common room is bright and sunny, with comfortable sofas and chairs and a fireplace, there are tea and coffee available any time and cookies in the late afternoon. The hosts are genuinely friendly, wonderful people who can't seem to do enough for you - from making dinner reservations to suggesting day trips, to arranging expeditions for you. I would love to go back and have already recommended it to family!

As the owner of the Heartwood Inn & Spa in Drumheller I always look for similar Inns when travelling. The Courthouse Inn's Shawn and Young Seon Cook were charming hosts, provided a relaxed breakfast with awesome coffee in front of the fire and one of the cleanest rooms I've ever seen. I highly recommend the korean pancake for breakfast. For travellers who want the personal touch and squeeky clean rooms this is your best choice when in Revelstoke. Looking forward to my next visit.

I can't speak highly enough of Shawn & Young Seon our hosts at this inn. They were attentive to detail, friendly but not intrusive and excellent cooks. The inn is spacious and comfortable and in an excellent setting. We enjoyed Revelstoke and the surrounding area and loved our 3 days at the inn. Our bed was very comfortable (including the pillows) and there was plenty of drawer and hanging space in our room. The breakfasts were excellent. We recommend this inn as a great place to stay in Revelstoke.

We loved this place! The innkeepers were very friendly and energetic and eager to assist in any way possible, but also respected our privacy when appropriate. We stayed in the Marie Antoinette room, which is on the main floor near the common area and breakfast room. The room itself was quite large and furnished nicely. The bed was particularly noteworthy, with super soft sheets and comfortable pillows.

Note that there are no TVs or telephones in the rooms or in the common areas, so plan accordingly. There is free WiFi access throughout the Inn though, which worked well.

Breakfast was very elaborate and went above and beyond the typical B&B's that we've stayed at; it was more like a fancy restaurant. There were several courses, including a fruit course, main dish, and yes, dessert! The chocolate truffle cake was to die for! All the food we had during our two day stay was excellent.

The nice common area had several couches and chairs, and included some board games, and a drink station with hot cocoa, coffee, and tea. The guests also have access to a shared fridge for storing personal items.

We thought the price was fairly high for the area, however the only other options we saw driving around town looked like old, rundown, motels, so we’re definitely glad we stayed at the Courthouse Inn and we'd recommend it to our friends in a heartbeat.

We spent one night in the Station room at the Courthouse Inn during our drive from Vancouver to Calgary, and loved every minute of it.

Spectacular service. We arrived late, around 9am, and were checked in quickly and they quickly arranged a reservation for us for dinner down the road (highly recommended). Amazing breakfast (served with a smile, even though we were an hour late to our tables since we didn't have our alarm properly set).

Would highly recommend this to anyone.
