We made a reservation for ourselves and friends from out of town at the restaurant, and after some confusion about names were seated. We were surprised at the prices for the dinners, they seemed high for the venue. We were told we couldn't order off the pub menu or the lunch menu, even though others in the dining room were being served from those menus. The food was reasonably good, but the service was slow and sporadic, and delivered in an off-hand manner not in keeping with the prices. The evening was ruined by our waitress, with attitude to match her barmaid outfit, who carried on a bantering exchange at the top of her voice with regulars at the other end of the dining room, to the point we could not carry on a conversation at our table. We will not go back.
