My family just got back from our stay at high falls and we were disgusted. I took my 13 year old and her 13 year old friend with us. They did not tell us when we booked that the place is a nudist resort. When we pulled in I went in to register. They said notihing about nudists. When I came out my daughter and her friend told me that they just saw a naked old man go into the pool area. I thought they were imagining things or it was a crazy old man. I went about 20 minutes later to the pool area to see if he was gone and found he was standing in the hot tub with his wife- totally naked for all to see. Not only that, it looked to me like they were getting it on.
The owner came over and I asked if this place was some sort of nudist resort that I was not told about. HE was very clear that no., not at all then went on to say there is a far beach that no one can see where nude sunbathing is allowed and that after 8 it is allowed in the pool area, even though it was only 6:30 and there were naked people in there. I wanted to leave but there was nowhere else with vacanices and since he assured me the kids wouldn't see anything I thought it would be ok. However, we all saw way more than we cared to the whole time. I find it very creepy that someone would open a waterpark for families, not tell anyone and then run around naked on the beach the whole time which is what he did. We saw him walk right up to children and start talking to them- completely naked!!! For the lady in one of the reviews who went on about having an open mind - I don't have an issue with someone being a nudist but they should tell you when you are booking that there will be naked people walking around. Imagine how I felt having to explain to my daughter's friend's parents why we exposed her to creepy naked men all weekend!!!!
