We were guests at the Pretty River Inn the weekend of May22-24 and from the moment we arrived to when we left the host Linda and Paul treated us like family and made us feel so welcome. They stopped to speak to all the guests and offered many suggestions from restaurants to places in interests in the immediate area...Fabulous Hosts!!!
Our room was so beautiful-The ' Ben Nevis Croft' so roomy and comfortable with a king size bed-with the most amazingly comfortable mattress, fireplace, jacuzzi and a loft all well decorated. We really enjoyed the walks on the beautiful grounds with the horses, reindeers and turkeys...we reconnected with nature. Incredibly Beautiful and tranquil surroundings....yet so close to Creemore and Collingwood. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend it -you can't ask for anything more!! Linda and Paul, Thank you for making our stay at Pretty River Inn a very memorable one...we will be back soon!!

My wife and I stayed the weekend of May 23rd with another couple at the Pretty River Inn. It was a terrific experience, from the service, accommodation, food, location, activites down to meeting a Porcupine on a side road during an early morning run. Very relaxing with beautiful views of the valley and Georgian Bay. Great place to hike or just hang out in the hot tub.

My husband and I have been coming to this beautiful and relaxing Inn for many years. Paul and Linda are the most wonderful hosts and they make everyone feel like family with their warmth and humour. The breakfast buffet is delicious. Two of our favourite entrees are eggs benedict and the most delectable french toast that we have ever tasted. The staff are very friendly and more than happy to help you in any way. The rooms are tastefully decorated and live up to their country theme.
If you are looking for someplace to experience special memories that will last a lifetime, The Pretty River Valley Country Inn is the place to try.

My husband and I recently returned from our vacation and we can't wait to go back. There was nothing about our stay that we didn't love. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Chris, who quickly checked us in and made us feel at home. From homemade cookies, to the bottle of wine in our room, nothing was overlooked and we were never bored. With just a 10 minute drive to collingwood, and Paul (the owner) who is a fountain of information on what is going on in the area, there is always somewhere to go and something to do. The Bruce trail is just a few minutes away so if you like hiking it's a great spot and the scenic caves are well worth a visit.
There's something to be said about always being greated with a smile every day and there was something differant and delicious for breakfast each morning. Everything was made fresh when you're ready and the soft music playing is a lovely touch.
Everything about our trip was wonderful and since they offer a 30% discount to active military personal we changed our mind about a weekend away and stayed for six days. A huge thank you to Paul and his wife Linda (whom we didn't meet but was so helpful and accomadating on the phone) for making our trip so special and wonderful. We hope to see you in the winter when we'll bring the whole family.
