We love to visit Blue Mountain, especially Weider Lodge. Skiing and winter sports are great - ski in/ski out the buildings front door! Summer is awesome too with private beach on Georgian Bay. Always something going in in the Village. Love it!

The lodge was a great choice for us. We went skiing and once you open the main door, jump into your skis, the lift is right under your nose. The lodge itself was clean and roomy. We booked a two bedroom suite and it came with a full kitchen, 2 LCD TVs, fireplace, all functional and in great condition.

I recently went to blue mountain for a weekend with my husband and another couple and was not impressed. The accommodations were lovely but the staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and even rude. We were treated like we were unwanted guests when we checked in and anytime we asked a question. One of the staff injured my arm when he continually yanked it when I fell despite me saying no and that I could not get up as I was sitting on my ski. Then when we left a thousand dollars was added to our bill! When we complained again we were met with disdain and argued to that we owed that amount until I said "we came on Friday and there were 4 of us does that sound like it should be 3000$? " ding dong the light went on and they actually figured it out from our credit card statements what we owed and realized that several charges went through a couple times! And they gave us such a hard time. It's a shame such a beautiful place offers such bad service. Will not be going back nor will I reccomend it to friends and family. We were treated like unruly teenagers even though we are mature adults. Go to mont tremblant instead.

The room itself and the maid service was amazing it was the lack of hospitality and attitude of the resort staff as well as the magic carpet operator that put a damper on our trip. A friend of mine fell in her skis getting on to the magic carpet and the man running the bottom of it stopped the belt which was great BUT continually pulled and yanked on her arm as if he was in such a rush to get the belt going again. His constant yanking resulted in an injury of her arm. We also stopped at Rusty's for a drink and my drink tasted horrible like sugary watered down juice and the waitress rudely informed me "she was not going to void it now" and refused to change it to a martini without the juice mix however, the men at our table received great attention from her and she made special changes for their orders while ignoring and being quite rude to the wives/girlfriends at the table. When we checked in it took 45minutes to do so and we were informed that the staff has been busy and is stressed out and this is why they are so grumpy towards us. Completely unacceptable. On top of it all they charged us an extra $1000+ on our room and argued that it was our charge when in fact it wasn't although it got sorted out we had to waste our time at the front desk yet again. Based on the money spent and value received on this trip I would highly recommend to others to go to Mont Tremblant or even Banff and ski Lake Louise where the staff is friendly and eager to make your stay a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Weider Lodge room 201 was a great view and location by the hill.

Stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was lovely. It was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need to make some meals and the fireplace was a nice touch. Had a great stay and I will definitely be looking to book there again.

The location of the lodge was great, very central and close to the slopes.

Beautiful property inside the ski village (Very well done). Lots of nice restaurants in walking distance, even in the off season. Cozy fireplace suites with nice wood finishes. Accomodating staff at the conference centre. 8/10

The Weir Lodge at Blue Mountain was a great place to spend our summer Canadian vacation.
The Lodge is right in the middle of The Village at Blue Mountain, where you have restaurants, shops & Music entertainment in the evenings.

You could stroll through the village or just watch people from our balcony that overlooked the main plaza. The area is wonderful in the summer, even thou it's a sky resort, there are walk on the mountain, horse back ridding, bicycles.. A number of fun things to do.

Room Tip: Choose a room that overlooks the plaza if you like to feel in the middle of all the action or choose...
