nice, clean, new, friendly staff, pet friendly. It was quiet, easy and reasonable. This tme we are travelling with dogs, and they were happy to accomodate. There was a convinient exit I could pull up to and unoad family and dogs. There is a nice trail behind the hotel too. i dont hand out 5s easily, but this one nearly got one.

We had chosen this hotel as our base for the nearby Algonquin National Park.
It is just a perfet hotel and was selected by many other tourists. Because its popularity the hotel was quiet full which caused some bottlenecks during breakfast.
Everything was super standard very modern and very inviting.

Booked this hotel having read the reviews - they were all very accurate and it was a pleasure to stay in such a clean and modern hotel. We had not expected much from the buffet, self-service breakfast but were pleasantly suprised by what was on offer and the good quality of ingredients. The hotel is on a business estate but very close to Hunsville which had some good restaurants. We enjoyed this hotel, which was not expensi ve and offered good value for money. The money we saved was put towards a really delicious evening meal in Huntsville.

Stayed here for 4 nights over the Civic Holiday weekend. Hotel was booked solid, and the whole town was very busy.
Arrived early and they didn't have any clean rooms yet, so I had to come back in an hour. No big deal, as I had arrived before the normal check in time. Service was great upon check in, and little interaction after that. You could tell that they were all very busy.
As for the building itself, nice room - King Leisure Suite. I can never figure out why they put a couch in a room but put the tv in front of the bed. If I have a room with a couch, I would prefer to sit on that and watch tv. Smaller hotel, 5 floors, 1st floor has few rooms, if any. Small wet bar area - fridge, microwave, sink. Few basic plates and cutlery sets. Huge bathroom, very hot water.
Breakfast included, which was really good, not too many frills, but a good selection, and nice patio off the back to sit out and enjoy the morning.
Pet friendly, which I didn't notice until a guest was trying to get back into her room across the hall with a dead key and her dog was yipping loudly around 11pm
Great location beside a DQ, across from a plaza with a Walmart, Kelsey's, East Side Mario's, grocery store, gas station, Quizno's, etc. Everything you need is within walking distance, which was good, because sometimes I found it hard to get a parking spot as the hotel was so full.
All told, I would definately stay there again, and strongly recommend it to anyone.

We were travelling with a teen in a wheelchair so we really needed their accessible room. For those with special needs, the room & bathroom were perfect. It was spacious, attractive & clean. The room only had a king size bed, so you might need to get a cot if travelling with more than 2 people.

Very convenient to the highway & shopping/restaurants very close. Dairy Queen next store. What more do you need?

The breakfast the next morning was very good and even with some of the cable TV channels not coming in clear, they gave us a discount. Overall, a very nice place to stay if you have special needs.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful and so friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were always smiling & saying hi. The rooms were clean and comfortable, nice bed and bath linens. The walls are a bit thin but it wasn't too incredibly noisy. It is too bad that the standard king rooms do not come with a small fridge but I guess that is one way to keep the cost down. The staff kept our milk and perishable snacks in their fridge for us, which was really helpful. The buffet breakfast was suprisingly decent - bagels, cereal, bacon & eggs, yoghurt, toast, pastries, juice. They needed more tables though, and since the hotel lobby is not huge maybe it would be nice if they could keep the lounge part of that area open for people to hang out in when they are waiting for each other (only open during breakfast). The pool is a great feature for families - our two-year-old loved it and there were quite a few other kids enjoying it while we were there.

The location is not for people who want to stay right in the town centre or feel that they are in cottage country, but we were there to attend a wedding and it was convenient for us with our daughter due to the nearby supermarket and restaurants. It was only a few minutes drive into town - we liked Huntsville very much, it has a charming main street with plenty of interesting shops, some pretty good restaurants and a lovely children's playground near the water.

I would definitely recommend a visit to Huntsville for a meal or some shopping, and if you are staying overnight you can't really go wrong with this Holiday Inn.
