It’s a Indie diner on the main drag of Huntsville a small town in the Muskoka cabin country. The decor and seating was the usual and the tavern part was just a bar near the cash register. I ordered the signature burger.
The Louis burger was made with not one but two homemade beef patties. They were thick and juicy. It was topped with pea-meal bacon and the usual condiments. It was very good and I highly recommend this burger to anyone, especially to those who have tried all the also rans; this burger makes the cut. The home made patties really were homemade and not just a better quality of premade patties. This is exceptional in any restaurant today and it is worth checking the place out. And the price was very good too!
The service was good and I had two refills of coffee. The menu had upscale items, but the prices were definitely down home. I give the restaurant five out of five meat cleavers. Huntsville is the gateway to Algonquin Provincial Park or the first stop after a camping trip. The main drag has tourist type stores and some unique small town shops.
