I had the chicken coconut curry bowl, added shrimp, and opted for the house soup.
The soup was tepid, any colder and it would have been gazpacho. This would have suited the vegetables well, which seemed to be mostly the fragments at the bottom of the pot, but it did have a decent flavour.
The chicken was a little better, the shrimp a little better still, but the vegetables were not as crisp as I like.
I was really looking forward to some curry aroma, but it seemed to have been spiced to my grandmother’s taste (read: ho-hum).
I ordered a coffee after dinner, but the cream curdled when I poured it in.
$30 plus tip.
The staff seemed pleasant and attentive enough (at least until it was time to get the bill paid), so I will give it another go next time I’m here.
