Stumbled upon this restaurant recommendation on trip advisor and it was the best decision ever. we didn't have a reservation but someone just cancelled as we walked in. It was meant to be. The gulf shrimp with brown butter was my favourite dish, it was so good that I would've licked the plate if no one else was there. We also had the kale salad, the duck confit with a cactus dressing and a pull pork dish. The ingredient combination was very well thought out and absolutely delicious from a taste and texture standpoint. It was so good. The kale salad was slightly on the salty side but mainly because of the feta cheese chunks. If the chunks were smaller, it would be better. But that's a minor point. The staff also made the experience superb. They were super knowledgeable and friendly. Service was excellent. This restaurant is worth the drive from Toronto! I would go back just to eat there.
