“Wonderful and Relaxing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

We were treated wonderfully from the moment I called to book a room. The place is beautifully decorated and every possible want and need is met by the staff with pleasure.

Neither my boyfriend nor I had ever stayed at a bed and breakfast and I am afraid we have been spoiled for anywhere else now!
The room was lovely, the bathroom big and so clean and the whirlpool tub large enough for both of us to enjoy a romantic bath. I couldnt have asked for more quite honestly.

The property has beautiful landscaping and very well maintained. The staff professional and welcoming. I love the privacy we were afforded and that wasnt really expected by either of us considering it was our first stay at a bed and breakfast. The breakfast meal was very nice, and everything advertised on the site was exactly as stated.

In the morning we went for a nice walk along the beach in the park behind the inn, spoke with some very nice people and enjoyed the nature around us in the evenings. The shopping through the day along the downtown is nice and a short walk away.

Definitely worth visiting and we will be going back for sure!

Room Tip: We were in the blue room and loved it but also had the opportunity to see the suite facing the front...

My husband and I decided to have one last weekend getaway to ourselves before the arrival of the new addition to the family. After searching online for B&B's in the Georgian Bay area we selected the Little Lake Inn's Rose Suite.

The room and the Inn's Guest areas were cozy and just as described and pictured. The Breakfasts were delicious and fresh.

This was a very relaxing getaway, we do recommend the Little Lake Inn. Thank you, Milt and Jennifer, for the wonderful service and atmosphere you provided.

B & B is a beautifully renovated old house and gardens, clean and comfortable Green Room, great food, attentive service, delightful hosts always there if you need something. Close to Midland Museum and had a delicious supper at the Arch Restaurant which is also close by.

We arrived in the afternoon to a warm welcome from Milton, who gave us a detailed tour of the Inn. We found it to be a charming, impeccably clean house with really beautiful decorating in each room. Because the Inn was busy, we ended up staying in two different rooms over two nights (the Green Room and then the Yellow Room). Milton was kind to move all of our belongings to make it a seamless transition for us.

The Green Room was a little smaller, but we found it a little quieter as well. Both rooms had beautiful whirlpool baths, and the Yellow Room had a gorgeous glass shower and a beautiful view of the backyard, which was a cozy place to relax in the evening. Lots of special little touches in every room - you can tell that the hosts put a lot of thought into the Inn.

Breakfast was, hands down, fantastic. Fresh fruit, really tasty quiches, homemade muffins - Jennifer is a wonderful cook and you would be hard pressed to find anything better. Both Milt and Jennifer were very friendly hosts as well - it was nice to chat with them at breakfast and Milt was always available if there were any questions or concerns.

It's a beautiful little place - perfect for a romantic getaway and we would definitely recommend both the Green and Yellow rooms - just be aware that the Yellow Room is right next to the kitchen, so it will get a little noisier in the morning just before breakfast.

My boyfriend and I just stayed the weekend at the Little Lake Inn Bed & Breakfast and had a lovely time. Milton and Jennifer were welcoming and attentive hosts. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the warmth/coziness of the Green room. The alternative entrance and private terrace were also delightful when we wanted to enjoy the fresh air. The breakfasts were delicious and the attention to details (like how I like my tea) were great. It's the little extra things that Milton and Jennifer do at the B&B that make the guests feel both welcome and appreciated. This B&B is full of charm, and we wholeheartedly recommend it for people looking for a beautiful place to get away.

We, two families with two young kids 1+ & 3( my grand kids), spent 3 nights there this week. The owner has chosen the right location with perfect beach, running , walking, bike paths, huge play ground at the back of the BB. A very beautiful surrounding. They provided daily new
breakfast menu with balance nutrition; taste & presentation could only provided by 5 star chef. They took care each of our food allergy issue with ease. They treated changing the bed sheet in late night with tender & care since the 3 yrs old threw up. Room was clean & spotless with Wi
Fi, TV & DVD provided. Visiting any restaurants & down town Midland were just step away. Little Lake Inn has won all the categories in now a day competitive tourist business . Thank you! Hope to visit you soon again! Peter & May from Thornhill, Ontario.

My husband and I spent 2 nights this past week at the Little Lake Inn, the first time for him, I was there 2 years ago with our daughter. Milton and Jennifer are such gracious hosts and make you feel so welcome. What a wonderful relaxing time for us, lovely home/garden/ rooms are very clean and have everything you need they really pay attention to detail! Breakfast was exceptional, Jennifer is a wonderful cook and inquires about your dietary needs/food allergies ahead of time which I thought was very considerate. We look forward to going back and I am recommending the Little Lake Inn to all of my friends, what a wonderful getaway...absolutely superb and will spoil you for any other B&B!
