Little Lake Inn is definitely worth the drive to Midland! Situated very near to Little Lake the location is scerene and idyllic. The Inn has many of the comforts of home. Each suite has its own mini fridge and a VCR and CD player. The main lounge offers a wide selection of movies and music to enjoy in your suite. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and an asortment of biscuits are available from the breakfast room at any time. The covered patio which overlooks the lake is a perfect place for bird watching, reading or just enjoying a glass of wine. The lake and conservation are is a very short walk from the Inn.

The Innkeepers, Milton and Jennifer, are gracious hosts, providing tips and recommendations for local attractions and restaurants, while at the same time offering privacy. Jennifer is a wonderful cook offering healthy, delicious breakfasts with lots of fruit; a welcomed change to the usual B&B breakfasts of copious amounts of carbs!

Room Tip: My husband and I stayed in the Rose Suite. Although an all-pink suite is not my favourite colour, th...

We have just returned from our third stay over several years at the Little Lake Inn, and enjoyed excellent accomodations and delicious breakfasts. The Inn is lovely, and the property is beautiful. The Inn Keeper's are charming, and will accomodate all of your needs. We look forward to a return visit.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are well appointed, and the entire Inn is quiet and peaceful.

We can not say enough about our hosts. We arrived late, having lost our way duing the drive, and even the late call to ask for directions was met with kindness and care. Upon our arrival, Milton was waiting for us with a big smile and warm heart. The home is stunning, and our room was immaculately clean, and way more than we expected. And we expected a lot! After coming in from completing the Tough Mudder (a military style adventure race), we were SO thrilled to see our room cleaned to perfection! We LOVED the 2 person tub, and all the little extras (like bath salts, complimentary cola) provided to us.

There is such a long list of things we loved about our stay, and the beautiful atmosphere, and we are already planning our next trip back so that we can more fully enjoy the incredible location. I have stayed at many places around the world, this B & B experience was by far the best.

Warmly, Jodi & Chris

If you're like us and have never stayed in a B & B before, (or even if you have) then this is the place. The owners, Milton and Jennifer, make you feel so welcome! It is a very private B&B. We stayed in the Green Room which was beautiful, with a jacuzzi tub, and private bathroom with a shower. Each room has their own small private porch with bistro table and chairs. The back of the property has a lovely large garden and a covered porch right off the dining room with seating for many. Such a beautiful place to relax after a busy day exploring, or you can just walk through the garden and down the pathway right to Little Lake. We stayed 3 nights and had a different delicious breakfast each day! We will certainly return to this fabulous place! If you get a chance to visit you will not want to leave.

We stayed for just one night recently, after spending a glorious day swimming at nearby Awenda Provincial Park (one of the nicest in Ontario) - and it was such a pleasant treat. We had the Yellow Room at the back, beyond the dining room, with our own separate entrance out the back, and our own terrace with chairs - and a view of Little Lake in the near distance. There is also a large terrace for all the other rooms, with comfortable chairs overlooking their lovely and extensive gardens.

The place was renovated to be a B&B - and they have truly thought of everything. The rooms, the amenities, the breakfast - every single detail has been carefully attended to, for the maximum comfort of the guests. The room is huge, with a very comfortable bed, a couch for watching TV (although you might prefer to watch stars on your back terrace), and a huge and luxurious bathroom. And breakfast was outstanding.

One of the best B&B experiences we have ever had. Highly recommended.

This is a fabulous B and B. Stayed here 2 nights in July. The host is wonderfuly knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast is amazing. And the back of the property leads to the lake and trails. Stayed in the blue room which was perfect. These hosts think of all the little details that set them apart from other places. My only suggestion might be to try to have the room temperature controlled in each room. Otherwise, great place! Will go back.

A perfect location for our family reunion in Little Lake Park. Milton and Jennifer couldn't provide the perfect weather but they provided everything else. The Rose Room was lovely; well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was a feast and Jennifer was able to accommodate for my wife's gluten-free diet needs. All the niceties were provided. We truly enjoyed the weekend stay and would highly recommend the inn. My relatives were staying in other local accommodations and were very envious of our choice.
