“great place for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Stopped in Midland on our way home from Bala and just happened to find this restaurant- had a great seat on the huge patio overlooking the water. Waitress was quick and attentive, but I think there was a mess up with our food order as we did wait for quite a while and in the meantime, tables that were sat after us were already getting their meals.

Anyhow, I had the chicken souvlaki with Greek salad, it was great, fresh and tasty- my husband had the spicy jack burger and it was good also

I think this would be a fun place in the evening b/c they have live music

If I were in the vicinity, I would return here again

“Great views, decent food, good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

A great spot for families and friends hanging around the harbour, great patio. Menu is fairly broad, a couple options for most diets. Food is not exceptional but fits the homely scene. Worth a try.

“Very nice experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

Our experience was quite different from some of the other patrons. The patio was great, the service was great and our food was also good. There was live entertainment while we were there which made it a great place to be on a summer evening. Would return.

“OK but don't try the pizza!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

A decent eatery overlooking Midland Harbour - the only one of the town's restaurants that does. There is a good patio and the staff were friendly and helpful. For the most part the food is what one would typically expect to find from a sports bar in cottage country - burgers, fish and chips, fries, salad etc. and appeared to be jus as one would expect for the most part. A word of warning, however. Under no circumstances order a pizza as they are, without doubt, the very worst 'pizza' this reviewer has ever tasted. The 'pizza' consisted of some sort of very dry biscuit concoction with no sauce as a base or cheese. For the version we tried there was a bed of leaves (forget exactly what variety) topped with dried out feta cheese and a few slices of tomato. It was truly, truly appallingly awful and could not be called in any way a pizza other than for the round shape. We did complain and our server was gracious and did not charge us for this experiment.
Don't let this review put you off though. Just don't order the pizza!
