“Out of town dinner (Feb.15/13)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

Had dinner here last night and it was great ! The wait to get a table was less than a glass of wine and the service was prompt. A loaf of homemade bread was brought to the table with either garlic butter or balsamic vinegar/olive oil for dipping. Appetizer of seafood-stuffed mushrooms with melted cheese was to die for, and the special of the day was the Italian Trio (chicken parmesan, penne with marinara, and stuffed canneloni all under a layer of melted mozzarella and cheddar). The food was hot and delicious! No room for dessert unfortunately. 2 dinners, 1 appetizer and 1/2 carafe of Soave was $73.00, and well worth it.

“Main Dish”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

I took my bf out for his birthday Oct 2012. We were not too happy with the appy's but LOVED our main dishes. Scott got the steak (can't member the name but it was like 28 bucks). I got the FRENCH ONION SOUP!! And let me tell you onion soup lovers, look no further. I've been to Paris, ate at the Eiffel Tower and this is the BEST I've ever had. End note! lol

“Never disappointed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

We have eaten here numerous times and the food and service has always been among the best there is in the Quinte region. Most recently we had a special get together for my wife's birthday, there were 15 of us in total. The service was very good, the drinks and appetizers arrived in good time and the servers were very good to ensure that the appetizer plates were removed prior to the meals arriving. Drinks were quikly served and refilled, and all meals arrived together. They did an amazing job of making the meal a special get together for us.
A few words of advise to maximize your enjoyment: For a large group of more than 6 I recommend you book several days in advance if you are planning a weekend dinner and, if you like your Jambalaya a little on the spicy side like I do, ask your server about having your Jambalaya (or other dishes) prepared spicy or extra spicy.
Their menu has alot to offer and a lot of variety for everyone's personal tastes and budget, making Tomasso's an excellent choice for a large group. Also the pizza is superb.

“The town favourite!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

I've grown up just 15 minutes from downtown Trenton and have been to Tomassoe's countless times. It's called Casual Dining, and I see it as a fun family restaurant with a friendly atmosphere, but I know some of my friends treat it as a really nice restaurant and dress up to go there for dinner, so it goes both ways.

They offer lunch and dinner daily (though I believe some days of the week they are only open for dinner) and have indoor and outdoor seating with a lovely view of the Bay of Quinte canal by the bridge. We've even boated to Tomassoe's from our house on the water, which takes about 40 minutes.

Tom, the owner, regularly makes his rounds during the later dinner hours to greet his guests and catch up with familiar faces.

Notable desserts: They have a two good chocolates cakes, a delicious chocolate-raspberry tartufo that I always order, and yummy warm apple crisp.

Their menu is well-rounded and authentic Italian food. Their pizzeria next door is a town favourite as well, and offers take out, though my family isn't particularly a huge fan of the pizzas (but I love ordering a "make your own" pizza for dinner!).
