“Pleasantly surprised ...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

I thought this place would suffer the same curse as every business that sits in this property but they have broke the mold. They have great burgers and fries. I have been here numerous times and ordered almost everything they have and not been disappointed. They have a excellent pulled pork sandwich pilled high with meat. Decor is from the 50's and very cool to browse, the seat are the old diner style you would see in the movies. The place has done very well, in the summer on Monday's for sure and I think Thursday's they have all the old antique and collectable cars stop in for a rally, I am surprised by how many people show up, it is also great to stroll around and admire someone elses ride. Stop in ... you wont be disappointed.

“Excellent food.”

Excellent food and friendly staff. I like the #2 combo. Burger with cheese and onion mixed into the pattie.

“Great blast from the past”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

I travel Hwy.2 quite often and always meant to drop in for a look-see. Glad I did today. The food is great quality, lots of it, reasonable in price and very pleasant staff. A huge stacked cheeseburger + huge fries + coffee was $9.75 plus tip. Diner style with sixties music and memorabilia everywhere made this a must come back place - and soon.

“Oldies but Goodies”

Many old cars and bikes meet here - A typical burger joint with a great view of older cars - Just make sure you go on a car night!!

“Food worth the retro dining experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

If you love a 50's style diner, this place is an overall 5. This place has elvis everywhere, 50's memorabilia is all over the place, and they have classic car shows frequently. Not my personal decor choice, but I'm sure it appeals to some. The service is fantastic, the staff is nice, the fiid is made to order, and the place is clean.

What makes this place stand out is the food. My favourite burger in Whitby is the rabble burger (yes, even better that Starr burger, North End or Pete's although they all make a decent burger). The burger is massive, perfectly seasoned and delicious. You get to choose from fresh toppings, and they even have some not so average choices: chipotle mayo, garlic aeoli, grilled onions - yum! Fries and onion rings are to die for.
