“3 Star could have been more”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Hotel looking as if it should have been a lot busier, the quality of the entrance hall together with the rooms was excellent. Unfortunately the hotel did not have a restaurant and therefore let it's self down as any decent restaurant was quite a distance away.

This get affordable hotel has some little luxuries that you don't ex left at this price! Bathrobes, mini fridge and luxury style old world furnishings. Rooms are quiet comfy and large. Hotel is located near a new mega shopping area called Quartier X:30 - basically the intersection between highway 10 and the new 30 in Montreal east. What a shopping g mega centre - you'll find everything there! Breakfast included at this hotel isn't good. Tiny area to eat and food quality is poor. Canned fruit cocktail and stale croissants don't make for a good start to the day. But don't let that stop you from staying here.

By staying a little out of Montreal, we were able to enjoy a beautiful hotel for three nights at a mere $109 CAD plus taxes per night. The lobby is outstanding, the reception helpful (Natalie printed up maps/directions for us) and welcoming (also bilingual). Our room was elegant and comfortable. We loved the breakfast...had hot chocolate and croissants which reminded us of breakfasts in France...with more than enough cold options available. Wifi worked well, free parking, with a car you can find good places to eat. Very nice mall a few miles away, just ask at the desk. While in Montreal do not miss the Jardin Botanical. The mosaic sculptures are out of this world. This awesome display is good through Sept. 29, 2019.

We stopped at this hotel on our way north of Montreal. We stayed here because we already read some of reviews on Trip Advisor. This hotel was next to Champlain Bridge which is what we were taking the next morning to travel past Mont Tremblant on our way to our ultimate destination. The reception area and breakfast area are beautifully appointed as are the rooms. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and the rooms are large. The one thing we pointed out to the young woman at the Reception Desk is that there was no "stopper" for the sink and therefore, made it a bit inconvenient for my husband to shave, albeit we found a solution. We were informed that this was a "problem" in every room of the hotel and we wondered why. No one seemed to be able to answer that question. Aside from this the hotel would be one we would return to on a future trip. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous and welcomed us as if we were one of their "regular" customers. A nice place to stay whether you are on your way somewhere else or going into Montreal itself.

Room Tip: We did ask for a room away from the elevators and that seemed to take us farther into the hotel and...

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Brossard to be close to my husband's mother who lives in Saint Lambert Que. Of course it's not in downtown Montreal but it is easy to get in the city. The cost of the night is therefore affordable. We stayed in a junior suite : large bedroom with king size bed and a sitting room. TV, sofa, bath robe, small fridge, Everything was nice ! We had a good service from the desk, the chamber maids, Very clean and change of sheets every day if wished by the customer. Even if it's close to an express way, there is absolutely no nuisance from the noise outside (because of the way the hotel is built). I would say that there is nobody to carry the luggage except the visitor but there are these big golden things to put everything when one arrives and leaves. Also, there is no restaurant except for a dining room where continental breakfast is served (free of charge). What more to ask ? Week ends need booking but it seems that one can find a room without reservation the rest of the week. The elevators are super speed. The lights inside the suite were more than enough. There is Wi-Fi - quiet general air conditionning etc... etc... We loved our stay and will certainly go back. Frrancoise H.

Room Tip: ask for a room far from eventual outside noise. Ask the desk

We paid $127 (including taxes) for a one-night stay for a two queen-bed room. I absolutely loved this hotel. Very well-maintained. The rooms were huge with nice comfy beds and pillows. Very clean as well. The bathroom was very nice with a huge walk-in shower as well.
We had to move to another room as the air-conditioning was not working in our original room. So we had to move, which was a bummer, but it was just a few doors down.
Breakfast was basic with croissants, cereal, muffins, juices, coffee.
Front staff need to smile a little more, but were hospitable. Coffee is available all the time.
I would surely stay again.
