If you dare reserve via internet, your rate will be 70% higher than the regular rate.
Don't try to understand and don't try to have the regular rate. The manager in charge will tell you it is your fault, you shouldn't reserve via internet and you will not have the regular rate.
For me, it is a gimmick and it make no sense at all.

Bottom line, I'd stay here again. Rooms were clean, a hint of a "smoker" smell in a non-smoker room but not unbearable. Bathroom was clean. There was a giant shower head that provided a great shower, unfortunately the drain wasn't up for the challenge and I stood in 4 inches of water after a short shower. Location is right off of Au 55, but not much noise. A trailer park is right next to the motel, and a large industrial complex with a giant petroleum storage tank is right behind. We were there on Sunday, and there is a small bar with a pool table off of the reception area. We went over for a beer, but found the clientele to be quite shady. All men, old, young and in between came and went. Get the picture? We were told the bar was open until 3 AM, and were concerned about potential for noise but the place was empty by 10 PM. Not sure what might happen on a weekend night, but we couldn't see why a motel bar needed to be open until 3 AM any night, much less Sunday. Breakfast was a typical continental type, nothing special but OK. Toast and cereal, muffins and coffee.

We were on our way to Montreal but getting tired, so we pulled in here. It seemed like a reasonable price at 79$/night (sign advertised 54.95$)... When we asked about that price, they said it was for workers only (I think it means construction workers). So, we paid as we really didn't want to go hunting for another place.
The room was ok, pretty basic.. although, the bathroom was extremely small... when you sat on the toilet, you were almost leaning against the door and the tub at the same time... the sink was on the outside of the room. The room came with a complementary breakfast... the breakfast included some fruit, a fruit salad, 6 kinds of cereal, waffles, coffee, tea, two juices, one kind of muffin, very small, no idea what kind it was. Was a little disappointed with the breakfast, but it was better than nothing.
The only bad thing that happened, and it wasn't the establishment's fault, was the people that were in the room above us... they were very loud until around 3AM. I called reception twice to complain... the second time, they did finally quiet down... found out later that the receptionist had threatened to call the cops on the people above us, so it was very nice to know that they took the situation seriously.

Room Tip: Maybe get a room upstairs, not close to the ice machines as the rooms are not all the sound proof

Motel Drummond was part of a package including one night, breakfast, admission to Village Quebecois d'Antan, and lunch at the Village.

MOTEL:
It was our first time visiting Drummondville and staying at Motel Drummond. Service was friendly and helpful. The rooms apparently had been renovated completely in 2009. This was clearly evident as the rooms were tastefully decorated, in excellent condition, providing amenities such as hairdryer, iron and ironing board, DVD player, free wifi, a sofa sitting area, fridge, microwave and programmable air conditioner. Everything was clean, functioning well and surpassed our expectations.
BREAKFAST:
We had a choice of a hot breakfast plate -- eggs, toast or a continental buffet which we both chose... consisting of cold cereals, toast - an assortment of jams, peanut butter etc, fruit salad and fresh fruit. The waitress came by with coffee a few times. This was all very satisfying.
LOCATION: right by the highway and easy to find. Local restaurants were plentiful just down the road.

We highly recommend this motel... which offers a variety of packages. There is a spa on-site but we did not use it.

My husband and I stopped here after 12 hours of driving. I usually hesitate to stay in "Motels" but at this point just wanted somewhere to sleep!
We pulled into this Motel not expecting hotel quality and were pleasantly surprised by the quality, cleanliness and modern decor.
At $85.00 a night this beats any higher priced hotels! I highly recommend you stay here if looking for a stop off the highway!

Passing through from Nova Scotia to Ontario and needed a place to stop. The friendly staff (who are fluently bilingual) immediately made sure the two rooms we needed were next to each other. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable rate. My husband appreciated the fact the motel was easily reached from the highway, and was located immediately off the exit ramp for ease of accessibility.

Would definitely stay here again.

From our experience at this motel it has been added to the short list for an overnight stop on the drive back to Ontario.
The motel has been redone inside and out and is clean and well appointed. The sheets are not as crisp as I would have liked but we had the use of a fridge, an iron, and a microwave if we wanted to eat in the room. There is flatscreen tv and wi fi access for the techies who are not too tired to stay up.
The furniture was new and the room had a freshness to it.
We got a free French newspaper in the morning which was appreciated.
We also got a free breakfast that could be added to if you wanted more and the package in all was easy on the pocket and being right next to the exit for the highway it would be hard to find fault with the experience.
The lower advertised rate is one that is available to some corporate clients but the price is well worth all the conviences.
