“A nice surprise with the quality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2010

Stayed there in Sept 2010. I got a 2 full size bed suite. The bed sheet & bed are very comfortable. Simmons mattress, comfy bed sheet & blanket, and lots of fluffy pillows. Furnishes are a bit outdated, but all are functional. Got a radio, 2 CRT TVs, an old fridge. Nothing fancy but they just all works. I would recommend it to others. The sleep quality we got a superb!

One side note is that it is pretty difficult to go to the hotel - probably a side effect of poor Quebec road designs. If you are coming from the airport, the easiest is to exit Chemin Jean, then go back onto Autoroute-20 East bound. Once you enter Autoroute-20, you will see a pullover that go right into the hotel parking lot.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent visit to our hotel. We appreciate your comments and vital feedback. We are always striving to do our best for our guests and your experience will ensure we do just that.

We have just completed changing almost half of the hotel to new LCD televisions, and expect to complete the rest in the near future.

There has been a lot of construction in our immediate area over the last few months, and we are all looking forward to it being finished within the next few weeks.

Thank you once again for your comments and look forward to seeing you again.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. We had a king bed suite, which came with a separate living room area with sofa bed. There was also a dining table and a little kitchenette. Our room had free wired internet (no wireless). Nothing fancy but covers all the basic needs you would require. Convenient location off Hwy. 40.

I stayed at this hotel the end of May 2009. Friends and I needed a little time away so thought that this would be a nice choice.I enjoyed the deli style restaurant (Nickles) in the hotel, the best was comfortable but unfortuantly I found it to be below the standard I was expecting. At check-in the guy seemed to almost be annoyed to have to check us in. Would not crack a smile, just asked our names etc..Gave us the print out to sign. Seemed like he really did not want to be there at all. Or had something better going on in his office that we had interrupted. The rooms were nice and big as they are all suites. Only the ceiling tiles are cracking, the bathroom seemed quite unclean. And about every hour a loud fan would come on above us for about 5 minutes. I can only assume that we were under the ice machine on the next floor.
Maybe i am more of a 4 + star type of girl. I mean even the elevator didn't even have an indication of whether it was going up or down, so you had to ask whomever was in there which way they were going or hope for the best. I personally would not go back again. Next time I think that Downtown is the better bet.
For me this hotel is fine for a quick stay but do not expect any kind of service. Even upon checking out the employee at the check out desk could not be bothered to speak more then one word to us.

Not too impressed.

tiny tiny tiny room. Not a suite, small tv, comfortable bed. No pool or hot tub at this hotel.

I was very disappointed, only stayed for 1 night, so didnt bother to ask why it wasnt one of the suites. My boss had the identical room onthe 5th floor. If you stay here, avoid rooms ending in *11

Stayed 2 nights for an event in the city. Lots of construction, a little confusing to get to. Rooms are nice and clean, very large with separate bedroom (king bed) and sitting area (queen sofa bed). Little noise from the highway. Free internet in the room. If you don't have a laptop, they have a computer in the lobby for a small fee. Ate breakfast at Nickels, it was okay. Didn't eat dinner here, but heard the Fajitas were good from other people. We had breakfast on our last day at Cora's in the plaza next door.

Reception staff was good.

We arrived late at this hotel on the beginning of our trip to Canada this year, for an overnight stay in between our arrival from France and our connection to Moncton. Our experience was very good, from the welcome by the staff (incl. late dinner) to the following morning.
The only drawback is that this hotel does not have its own shuttle to the airport. The one advertised on the hotel website is actually operated by nearby Holiday Inn, and the driver was certainly not very nice in the evening upon our arrival and he was late in the morning going back to the airport.

I arrived at the hotel and was very pleased with the hotel's lobby, restaurant, and exercise room. The room was very clean and recently redone. The hotel seems to be kept in excellent shape. When I had trouble with my hairdryer, the maintenance guy came within minutes of my call and changed the unit. He was clean looking, and very professional. Not bad service for a Saturday morning!
