We enjoyed a lovely meal at Luna Blue. Weeknight dining was relaxing and our dinner was excellent.
Appetizers were mussels in a Thai sauce and they were the hit of the day. Moist and perfectly cooked in an amazing sauce that was flavorful and perfecty balanced they were among the best I have ever had. The caesar is a crowd pleaser and was excellent.
Main courses were Pad Thai, and my absolute favorite Smoked Chicken Penne pasta. Chef Daniel smokes the chicken in house and it is to die for. Sundried tomatoes, spinach and fresh grated parm accented and garlic with a light toss of olive oil are heavenly. The Pad Thai is consistently excellent and my husband's "go to" dish on the menu. He always enjoys it as do I.
Service was inobtrusive, friendly, and polite and we felt relaxed and unhurried in a welcoming and serene environment.
The menu provides excellent value and there are options to incorporate gluten free dining in to many of the dishes, a thoughtful consideration that adds flexibility to the menu.
The option to choose a larger or smaller portion of many main course pastas is also excellent.
I can recommoned it as a great spot for couples, and we have dined there with family as well as friends with small children and it has been consistent and excellent.
