We read a good review about this restaurant in our guidebook. However, one local told us the food was just "okay" and another told us the place had changed ownership in the past year. We decided to make dinner reservations anyway, but got really hesitant when we arrived and there was only one other diner!
Fortunately, it was a great experience. The log structure has some ambiance and the food was delicious. We ordered a couple sides as appetizers, Oka cheese toast and sweet potato fries, which were both tasty. My sage risotto and my husband's chipotle espresso seasoned bison strip loin were perfectly prepared. Not only that, but our waiter was very friendly and gave us some great travel tips.
In short, don't let the empty parking lot fool you! This place has great food and a nice wait staff!
