We went with two couples on the Adventure Tour (6 hours) in late January 2013. Our knowledgeable and passionate guide was Nick - he was terrific. We are are fairly adventurous and athletic, so this suited us perfectly. If you are scared of tight spaces, the dark, spiders, or rappelling, this would not be the tour for you. However, if you are up for some adventure, learning, having fun, and getting a bit dusty and dirty, you will LOVE it. The perfect combination of mental and physical challenges with amazing views thrown in. A great way to spend the day in the mountains (literally). Wear good hiking boots, a pair of long pants, long sleeved shirt and a fleece or light jacket - that should suit you just fine. Make sure you take a couple of granola bars with you as you will get hungry. Also - don't be scared to try things - despite my fairly spindly arms, I managed to get down and back up the laundry chute and through the squeeze. The most physically and mentally challenging part of the experience, but so worth it. A must do for adventure-loving types!
