More disappointed than I can say in a family publication. The entertainmnet was only corny, not funny, not really entertaining, not quite musical. I'll admit that 2 of the 8 performers had excellent voices (the brunette and the longer-haired blonde, in case you're reading this yourselves). The male host might (?) have had a good voice, but he was talking like a 4 year old (or Pee Wee Herman), so I'll never know. Ick. I'm betting he knew someone to get cast in the lead.
The food was skimpy because it was served "family style." First you're splitting a modest bowl of salad with 8 people at the table. Everyone takes small portions to be polite, eh. I could have had "seconds," but I would have been denyng the petite 80 year old lady who also wanted them. I deferred to her. Three main courses: chicken was decent; there was plenty of the tough beef (it might have been pork), but hardly any of the really good fish. Our table only asked for seconds on fish from the kitchen, but were told none was available. The little old lady got the 9th half-piece of that also. The sides (potato, roll, veggie) were fine, and dessert was a cake with maple glaze ... tasted faintly like my pancakes the next morning.
I wish we had got our money back, then it only would have been a waste of 2 hours.

I do read all of our Trip Advisor reviews along with facebook, twitter and our in-house surveys. I take on board all comments good and bad as it in an integral part of improving our service and ensuring our guests leave happy.
However, I do feel that your comments regarding our performers were hurtful and I would like to take this opportunity to comment.
We employ 6 professional performers that have all graduated from a recognised school of arts. Our youngest performer has just won a prestigious Calgary Theatre Critic Award, another has just returned to her position as a professional chorister at the renowned Vancouver Chamber Choir. Two of our performers trained in New York and Toronto and our 'male host' has been performing professionally for over 20 years.
I completely understand that musical theatre does not appeal to everyone, and again I am sorry that you did not enjoy the show.
