We stayed here about a year ago around Thanksgiving 2011. Our host was friendly upon our arrival and quickly showed us to our room. We were a bit surprised to see that in our room the jacuzzi bathtub was located two steps away from the bed. Very odd! I guess if you ever found yourself laying awake at night wishing you could just wake up and roll straight into a bathtub, this place is for you.

The toilet is thankfully in a closed off closet-sized room but since the jacuzzi tub was in the main area there was a distinct mustiness to the room.

There was an air conditioner (window style) built into the wall but having it on while you're trying to sleep was a challenge. We had it on to remove the humidity that built up due to bathing next to our bed (there was no other shower or bathtub in the bathroom).

The breakfast was not particularly memorable and we won't stay here again.

Had a great time, very comfy beds, breakfast was amazing, love the heated floors in the bathroom, awesome view of the three sisters as well. The staff was very nice espically Charlotte, rooms were modern with flat screen tv's, there is an outdoor jacuzzi as well which we never got to try. Will definetly be returning.

We got the Elopement Package for our wedding on July 29th and were blown away by the quality of what we recieved in all areas. The breakfast truly exceeded expectations. The wedding setting (we had it in the gazebo)looked like something out of a story book with the flowers framing the entrance to the lanterns placed in the front and to top it off we had a sunny day! Charlotte through out the entire process kept in touch and was extremely patient with all my questions and ideas. Every thing they offered in the package, from the soaps to the fruit plate before the wedding to the wedding cake later that night and the wine oh and the massage.... Truly 5 star quality. I took a chance and left it all in their hands and I could not have been happier with how the wedding went. We plan on spending a few weekends a year at the Inn. I found the Inn online and when we went up there to check it out we were amazed at how picturesque everything looked. You may come in as a guest but you go away as family and that to me is the sign of a "one of a kind" priceless place to stay!

We booked the Bear & Bison for our recent wedding after a visit to the inn last fall. We loved the quaint atmosphere and the individual attention it seemed we would receive during our wedding "weekend" (ours actually took place on a Thursday).

We definitely made the right decision. They took care of us and our guests for two days, with no complaints. Our family and friends LOVED the inn, the food, the beautiful mountains. We had originally booked our ceremony to take place at Quarry Lake Park, but at the last minute we were forced to move the ceremony back to the inn. Charlotte was an absolute lifesaver. She pulled our wedding together in mere minutes, and coordinated our DJ, commissioner, photographer, family, friends, and even our ceremony lineup.

Everyone at the Bear & Bison was fantastic. We are so grateful that our wedding turned out as beautiful and organized as it did. I recommend them 100%.
