I have lived off and on in the Bow Valley for 28 years and have been coming to this pub when ever I am in Canmore. Last time I was there was to enjoy live entertainment a few years ago in the evening and yesterday I was in for an afternoon beer....... my favorite treat on a day off. I enjoyed friendly banter with the locals, tourists and the guys hiding from their wives! The bartender was not only friendly and efficient but a great host as well! If you like a no nonsense joint and a realistically priced pint where the people are real then this is the place!
Room Tip: did not stay in the hotel, just visited the bar.
