We stayed at this condo rental facility and would return anyday.

it was a one bedroom condo with full kitchen, dinning room, living room and washer/dryer etc.
the vu from the windows was breathtaking.
underground parking lot is nice and secured, but Sunset should place better signs to show where to park.

We really appreciated the condo as we were able to do all our laundry after this multi city trip of 3 weeks. very cool.

We will likely return and stay at the same hotel.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks here in February 2012 and had a fantastic experience. This is a condo property, NOT A HOTEL or MOTEL. Do not expect to get that kind of maid service. The free daily maid service includes trash pickup, replenishment of bathroom supplies, and sometimes dishes left in the sink were washed for us. Since this is a condo you are really responsible for taking care of your own dishes and clothes/towel cleaning. It is really easy because you have a dishwasher and washer/dryer in your condo.

We stayed in a 2nd floor, 1 bedroom room with a great jacuzzi tub that is practically in the bedroom. The bathroom with a shower is a completely seperate room. They offer, at request, wireless internet service for about $20 (CAD) per week, it worked very well for us.

The condo was spacious, very clean, nicely decorated, had tons of strorage space/closets, had anice view of the surrounding mountains to the NW & NE and was extremely comfortable. Stores (we prefered Sobees) are very close by for groceries. On Main St., The Bears Paw Restaurant and Brewery was really good. The Good Earth coffee shop made great Hot Cocao (made from steamed milk) and brownies.

The manager Gary and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful! The underground garage was great, however the clearance is only about 6.5 ft. If you have a higher profile vehicle you will either need to park outside or remove the rack/carrier from the top of your vehicle so that it makes the clearance. We had a Cheverolet Suburban 4X4 with a factory roof-rack and it was fine. The location is close to town and the Nordic Center. Trains and highway traffic noise can be heard with windows open, that didn't bother us.

We booked a weekend for myself and boy friend and it was really disappointing. First, booking.com led us to believe we were getting a condo suite for a cheaper rate which wasn't so when we got there. When we arrived the guy didn't understand what had happened but we accepted the charges for the larger room which he gave us at a discounted price. They took a damage deposit from my credit card which I've never experienced before. He guy told us because he wasnt expecting us to have the suite, that we might have to take our bedding out of the dryer in the room and make our bed up ourselves. The room was nice but VERY out dated, the DVD machine was broken, the bed hard as a rock and the bedding was practically sheets so
I was very cold all night. Lights were burnt out, pillows were flat and oooooold! They charge an extra $25 for extra towels so if you have long hair, sucks to be you! Upon checking out, the woman behind the counter had no idea about us switching rooms and tried to charge us extra for being there without any word of giving us our damage deposit back. She wasn't authorized to print off recipes or refund money and later found our she was the hotel maid. so we had to wait 5 days until I was refunded my money.... After NUMEROUS phone calls. The manager was absent the entire time... Was incredibly unimpressed and will never stay here again. Canmore is such a beautiful place and have stayed in way better hotels but will never again come back to this one.

We stayed at this resort through Interval in late August. The units on the third floor are nicer, but the want $50 a night extra. Second had two bedrooms and were smaller but they did the trick. BBQ was very dirty and needed cleaning which was for general use on the main floor. The unit was clean and not as bad as all the reviews. Gary did a nice job keeping us happy. The free park passes were an excellent idea and saved us at least $100. IRON GOAT was a great place to eat and Rose and Crown as well. We would stay at the location again and pay the extra $50 a night next time.
