Spent 3 nights at mystic springs (dec 23 -dec 26). We had two units 117 and 118. Requested side by side and they were able to accommodate us. We did request it when we booked in November and to,d we might not be able to but they would try their best. We're very happy they could accomadte us. I found exchanging emails and special requests very simple. They were responded to within the same day.

This was not my first stay her but was a first for the rest of my family. We chose this place for a few reasons...close the lake Louise, 4 beds in each unit, pet friendly, cooking facilities and a great out door pool.

We were very happy with our stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and responded quickly to any requests we had. They had nice touches like gifts for the pets, hot chocolate and cookie treats for guests checking in on the 24th. We asked if they would let us have one as our unit checked in on the 23rd. They were quick to deliver our kids treat too. They also had the outside of units simply decorated for Christmas, crafts delivered to the units on Christmas Eve as well as pre packaged turkey dinners available if wanted (we didn't use this service).

We used the outdoor BBQ on Christmas Day. A popular choice that day. One was broken down but people were friendly and came to our unit to let us know when they were finished.

The staff were quick to check on our tv when it wasn't working, provide extra robes, more towels etc. even on Christmas Day.

Location is great for pets as it has a great walking path behind the unit.

Suggestion to guests...bring slippers. Floors are a little chilly. We also like to bring a few old towels to throw down at the front door for boots and pets as there are no boot racks. Units have ski lockers. Would suggest maybe having boot/glove dryers. ( we brought our own). Kitchen is well stocked, only thing missing was a cookie sheet (brought our own). The one unit 118 did seem extremely chilly especially around the inside door. We place pillows around it to stop the chill. We just bundled up in the unit. But minus 30 everything is cold.

Would suggest this place for families and or multiple family getaways. We always enjoyed our stay and there always seems to some little touch that makes everyone happy especially the kids. We have found this at anytime of the year weather it be st paddys day, Easter or Christmas.

We will be back in march thanks again.

This was our first time to the property, in fact we had never seen it at all. Right from the initial check-in experience we were very impressed. First, you check in across a desk with a very delightful staff member, no counter-barrier. The the wife really liked the room from her first step - and she is not easy to please. The rooms are very cosy and well appointed.

We dashed to the hot pool after a day of skiing at the Canmore Nordic Centre, a gaint hot pool (steaming away) and a sooothing hot-tub.

We really enjoyed the fact that you can walk right out onto the main floor, makes it handy to move your stuff around. And felt like a home more than a hotel room or chalet.

Mystic is marvelous

My friends and I spent a lovely weekend in Canmore/Banff and simply adored this chalet!! We had the room at the far end of the hotel and were able to see the beautiful mountains out the side windows as we ate breakfast. The outdoor hot pools were fantastic and the service was exceptional. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us and it was so nice to be able to make our own dinner/breakfast. I/We will definitely be coming here again and recommending it to others!!

I bought a voucher for Mystic Springs on one of those daily travel sites and was completely blown away by the "deal" that I had bought once I arrived! The chalet was perfect for me and my two kids - 2 full baths, 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom, full ensuite in the master and the main floor living space was terrific. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, etc. and the family room had a DVD player which was perfect for the kids. The outdoor hot pool could have been hotter but overall, we were extremely happy with the vacation. Even at full price, this hotel is a great deal!
