and we eat a lot of Cuban sandwiches. This place had one of the best ones I've ever had. The waiter explained they use a pulled pork instead of a sliced roast pork. It was delicious.

“Canmore Local highly recommends "The Town Course"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

I am a local in Canmore for 10+ years now. I am a member at the Canmore Golf and Curling Club and highly recommend it for Golf and dining on one of the best patios in town! There is a view from every single hole that is unmatched! Extremely friendly staff and beautiful course condition. The food is excellent and add the million dollar view on the deck and you have all the makings of one fantastic experience in Canmore!

“Open for business!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Following the massive flooding in Southern Alberta I know many have wondered, "is Alberta open for tourists?" I am so happy to say that as a tourist, you will travel through and likely wonder, "what was all the fuss about?". Crews, first responders and thousands of volunteers have restored the communities so completely in most cases, as a tourist your adventure will not be affected. This is true for the Canmore Golf and Curling Club. The course is open and in great condition. The clubhouse has a great deck and it is so pretty to sit and look at the course and the mountains in the background. The food is very good and servers are pleasant. If you are looking to shop in Canmore before or after your golf day, check out the jewellery store on main street; the owner is retiring and there are huge discounts. Be sure and check out some of the restaurants on the street next to mainstreet or in the lane ways (Zona's, the Trough and other secret finds)

If you are looking for another course to golf on a different day (that will not break your wallet), try Kananaskis Guest Ranch - it is about 15 minutes from Canmore at the Sebe turnoff; a great course with elevated tees and dog legs with wonderful mountain views. If you want to golf one of the major courses Silver Tip offers a twilight 9 holes for $99 that includes a food voucher.(a great deal as the full price is $165.00) Silver Tip is a true mountain course and one of my favorites
